What is MAJMC?

MA in Journalism and Mass Communication is a two year postgraduate programme in the field of mass communication and journalism. MAJMC Courses

The two years postgraduate programme is divided into four semesters. It includes a three month internship. During the end of the programme, students have to submit a dissertation on any topic related to mass communication and journalism.Through the help of classroom teaching, students are edified from social history of journalism to the new age media. They are also exposed to practical learning which includes reporting, portfolio film making. As a part of the outdoor learning exercise, they are also provided with regular industrial visits, seminars and presentations.

There are no other areas of specialization in MAJMC programmes.
