The College and the degrees offered are recognized by the National Medical Commission. The Medical College received NAAC A+ reaccreditation in 3rd cycle as a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (DTU), Pune.
The college offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Super Specialty programmes along with numerous Fellowships, PhD and Skill Development Certificate courses. The department of Pediatrics runs international fellowship in collaboration with Birmingham University, UK.Bharati Hospital has been awarded A+ grade by Government of Maharashtra under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana. The first volunteer in India for ‘CoviShield’ vaccine trial was enrolled at Bharati hospital, Pune. Bharati hospital was the first recognized private COVID-19 management hospital in collaboration with Pune Municipal Corporation.The hospital provides modern diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. It is housed in a well-planned multistoried building, well equipped critical care areas like Emergency Medicine, ICU, NICU, PICU and CCU providing round the clock emergency services.
Recently the Super Specialty Hospital services have become fully functional. The latest addition for patient care and community welfare is the Human Milk Bank and we are amongst few of the select hospitals in Pune city to have one. Bharati Hospital is successfully implementing Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
The pride of the institution is a well-developed hi-tech simulation lab equipped with high fidelity mannequins and digital anatomy dissection table (Anatomage).

Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College is located in Pune and was established in 1989. BVMC is affiliated to the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The medical college holds a special place of pride and distinction in the conglomerate of institutions of learning of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The Institute conducts the undergraduate degree course in B.Opto, Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, and MBBS. Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune offers Bachelor in Optometry(B.Opto), Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology(BASLP), and MBBS degree courses at the undergraduate level. Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College offers Doctor of Medicine(M.D.) degree in 14 specializations, Master of Surgery(M.S.) degree in 6 specializations, Master in Optometry(M.Optom) degree, and PG Diploma courses in 8 specializations at the postgraduate level.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune: Condition of Admission 2023
- On the basis of NEET UG/PG scores, a merit list of NEET UG/PG will be prepared. As per the rank, NEET UG/PG counseling is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), for 50% All India Quota seats reserved for all government medical and dental colleges in India.
- The remaining 50% state quota seats will be filled through common counseling conducted by designated authority of respective states.
- Candidates, who will qualify in the state quota will be able to take part in the counseling conducted by the DGHS.
- Candidates whose names are forwarded by DGHS, after counseling, are required to report to the Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune.
- The Director of BVMC, Pune will verify the documents.
