The Medical College and the attached NABH accredited multi-specialty, tertiary care Hospital and Research Centre with its expressions of modern architecture form a part of the scenic campus of Bharati Vidyapeeth Educational Centre at Dhankawadi, Pune. The College and the degrees offered are recognized by the National Medical Commission. The College is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools of the World Federation for Medical Education and FAIMER. Our students are eligible to appear for USMLE and PLAB examinations. The Medical College received NAAC A+ reaccreditation in 3rd cycle as a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (DTU), Pune.

The college offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Super Specialty programmes along with numerous Fellowships, PhD and Skill Development Certificate courses. The department of Pediatrics runs international fellowship in collaboration with Birmingham University, UK.Bharati Hospital has been awarded A+ grade by Government of Maharashtra under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana. The clinical laboratory of the hospital is NABL accredited and the Emergency Medicine Department, Blood Bank and Ethics committee are NABH accredited. We are also accredited by NABH for Nursing Excellence.

The first volunteer in India for ‘CoviShield’ vaccine trial was enrolled at Bharati hospital, Pune. Bharati hospital was the first recognized private COVID-19 management hospital in collaboration with Pune Municipal Corporation.The hospital provides modern diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. It is housed in a well-planned multistoried building, well equipped critical care areas like Emergency Medicine, ICU, NICU, PICU and CCU providing round the clock emergency services.

Recently the Super Specialty Hospital services have become fully functional. The latest addition for patient care and community welfare is the Human Milk Bank and we are amongst few of the select hospitals in Pune city to have one. Bharati Hospital is successfully implementing Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.

The pride of the institution is a well-developed hi-tech simulation lab equipped with high fidelity mannequins and digital anatomy dissection table (Anatomage).

Admission Procedure

Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College is located in Pune and was established in 1989. BVMC is affiliated to the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The medical college holds a special place of pride and distinction in the conglomerate of institutions of learning of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.  The medical college and all the courses/degrees run by are recognized by Medical Council of India.

The Institute conducts the undergraduate degree course in B.Opto, Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, and MBBS. BVMC also offers M.D. degree, M.S. degree, M.Optom degree, M.Sc. degree, and PG Diploma courses at the postgraduate level. BVMC also offers Doctorate of Philosophy, Doctorate of Medicine, and super specialist courses in Master of Chirurgiae and M.Sc.

• Candidates applying for undergraduate degree course have to take the form online from the official website of the institute, fill it up and send it to the BVMC before the deadline date, candidates will also have to apply for NEET UG examination conducted by CBSE.
• Candidates applying for the postgraduate course have to apply online through the official website of NEET PG conducted by National Board of Examination.
• To apply for the undergraduate degree course, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible, while for Postgraduate courses, candidates must have a graduation degree in the relevant subject/course.
• Admission into the undergraduate course will be based on NEET UG Scores conducted by CBSE and as per the cut-off list released by the college and Admission into the postgraduate course will be based on NEET PG Scores.
• Admission is done strictly on the basis of Merit in the entrance test.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune offers Bachelor in Optometry(B.Opto), Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology(BASLP), and MBBS degree courses at the undergraduate level. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and obtained 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.

Candidates should not be below 17 years of age or above 25 years of age at the time of Application process. Blind (including color blind), deaf, and/or dumb candidates are not eligible to apply for the course.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College offers Doctor of Medicine(M.D.) degree in 14 specializations, Master of Surgery(M.S.) degree in 6 specializations, Master in Optometry(M.Optom) degree, and PG Diploma courses in 8 specializations at the postgraduate level.

Candidates who have passed MBBS from any Medical college which is recognized by the medical council of India. Candidates should have completed his/her rotating internship for one year after passing the MBBS examination on or before April 30 are eligible to apply.

Candidates must have got themselves registered(Provisional or Permanent) with any Medical Council (State or Central) to be eligible.

Selection is done on the basis of NEET PG entrance examination conducted by NBE. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on candidates scores in NEET PG. Candidates who clear the cut-off score set by the BVMC Pune will be called for the admission process.

Counselling will be conducted by the Director General of Health Science (DGHS) and the name of candidates who clear the cut-off score will be forwarded to BVMC Pune to complete the admission process.

• On the basis of NEET UG/PG scores, a merit list of NEET UG/PG will be prepared. As per the rank, NEET UG/PG counseling is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), for 50% All India Quota seats reserved for all government medical and dental colleges in India.
• The remaining 50% state quota seats will be filled through common counseling conducted by designated authority of respective states.
• Candidates, who will qualify in the state quota will be able to take part in the counseling conducted by the DGHS.
• Candidates whose names are forwarded by DGHS, after counseling, are required to report to the Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune.
• The Director of BVMC, Pune will verify the documents. 
• After his satisfaction, he shall direct candidates to deposit all required fees etc., immediately.
