Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. It has widest choice of engineering branches having 15 Under Graduate courses & 13 Post Graduate courses. In addition, it has 20 Research Centers in different branches of Engineering catering to research scholars for obtaining PhD. D under VTU. Various courses are accredited by NBA.
The Institute is spread over 23 acres of land with large infrastructure supported by laboratories with state-of-the-art, Equipment & Machines. The Central Library with modern facilities and the Digital Library provides the knowledge base for the students.
The campus is WI-FI equipped with large bandwidth internet facility. The College has good faculty strength with highest professional integrity and committed to the academics with transparency in their actions. • For M.Tech Interested candidates must hold qualifying marks in BE/B.Tech Degree (in any field).
• For MBA Interested candidates must hold 50% marks in total and who studied and passed one of the subjects from the first provision of Pre University Course with 50 % marks in total.
• For MCA Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Computer Programming/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics and who studied and passed in the subject of the first provision of pre-university course with 50% marks in total. 
• For M.Sc/PhD Selection is based on the ULRAT Test and Interview by VUT and written test and interview by the college.
