Mission and Vision

• Dr. D Y Patil College of Nursing, Pune was established in 2000! The College was started with the objective of imparting high quality education to students, so that they have in-depth practical knowledge and develop skills.

The College is internationally recognized as a centre of excellence for education and research. The mission of the College is to take Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing, Pune to newer heights! The College has set a goal for itself to excel in nursing care in the field Education and in service through Research.
It does so by preparing and enlightening the students of this Course with the quality education that is at par with the best standards in the country. After the completion of the Course they can provide comprehensive nursing care and assume responsibilities as specialists, consultants, educators, and administrators and become future leaders in the health care sector.
The College is approved by Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai & Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. It has been Re-accredited (3rd Cycle) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A++’ Grade. It is also an ISO 9001: 2015 and 14001:2015 Certified as also Green Education Campus.
