Welcome to Florence Nightingale Training college of Nursing

The college of Nursing was started in 1996. This training college is recognized and affiliated to the Maharashtra Nursing council & Indian Nursing council, New Delhi. The college has a separate building with a beautiful campus.
The intuition is committed to establish necessary facilities to render quality health care to Rural population. Enhancement of health care profession and continuing medical Education is one of the aims of this institution. Training college of nursing has been started to prepare nursing professionals dedicated to patient care and humanity. The training college functions along the lines of the hospital’s aims and objectives. It also takes into consideration the guidelines of the both the Indian and Maharashtra Nursing Councils.
The institute is well equipped with modern facilities of teaching aids. There are facilities for recreation like T.V. outdoor & indoor games etc. the college runs diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery Course. Every year 100 students are admitted. And Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery Course. Every year 60 students are admitted. The students are encouraged to take part in academic as well as socio-cultural activities. Educational trips are also arranged for students. Clinical and field experience is regularly assessed by the teachers, for each student. Aims & Objective

  • To bring about improvement in the health system and health status of the people especially those who live in the rural areas of the country.
  • To prepare competent RANMs so that infant and maternal mortality and morbidity of our country can be reduced.
  • To provide effective and qualitative primary health care services in rural areas.
  • To identify health problems / need resources in the community in health care activity.
  • To participate in all National Health and Family Welfare Program at community level.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other health team members and community based organization, non government organization and village administration.
