Introduction

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIITH) is an autonomous university, founded as a not-for-profit public private partnership (N-PPP) in 1998, and is the first IIIT in India under this model. Over the years, the institute has evolved strong research programmes in various areas, with an emphasis on technology and applied research for industry and society. Admission Procedure

IIIT Hyderabad admission 2023 is open to B.Tech based on JEE Main scores. On April 15, 2023, the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 exam concluded. The JEE Main Phase 2 exam results, will be available soon on the official portal. The UGEE Exam 2023 will be held on May 06, 2023, And the PI for UGEE is scheduled from June 13 to June 15, 2023. The registration period for JEE Main counselling is anticipated to start on June 19 (tentative) in 2023. IIIT Hyderabad PGEE exam will be conducted on May 06, 2023. Additionally, IIIT Hyderabad accepts B.Tech applications from students who have scored 90% and above marks in any board exam; the last date to apply is June 06, 2023.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad has successfully conducted and concluded the 2022 placements. Placement Cell

The IIIT Hyderabad placements and career-development cell serve as a nodal point for all placement-related communication between the company and the students. One of the cell's key goals is connecting its students and graduates with significant job opportunities that match their personal and intellectual profiles. Therefore, various internship programs, lectures, and pre-placement talks are organised better to equip the students with the professional world's requirements. In addition, mock interviews, group discussions, aptitude tests, and communication skill enhancement programmes are arranged by the cell to equip the students better for the upcoming interview processes.

Placement Process

The steps for conducting the annual placement drive at IIIT Hyderabad are described below.

• First, the IIIT Hyderabad placement cell sends invitations and all relevant details for the placement drive to the organisations.
• Employers must complete the JAF (job announcement form) to recruit students. The organisations should mention details like the package offered, place of posting, allowances and bonuses.
• The completed JAFs are sent to the IIIT Hyderabad placement cell.
• Interested students are asked to apply to the organisations.
• Once applied, the student details are shared with the companies to shortlist.
• The placement office gives companies dates to conduct the selection process. The selection process includes aptitude examinations, group discussions and personal interviews.
• The recruiting organisations will make job offers after completing the selection procedure by qualified students.
• Selected candidates sign the offer letters that are handed over to the organisations by the IIITH placements office.

Scholarship

IIIT Hyderabad offers scholarships to eligible applicants. The scholarships are offered based on academic performance and economically disadvantaged students. Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions set by the college to avail of the scholarships. Further details about the International IIIT Hyderabad scholarship are given below.

Financial Assistance: The State Bank of India (IIIT branch) guarantees an SBI scholar student loan to anyone who secures admission at IIIT Hyderabad, offering up to 20 lakhs. This loan can be availed even if the applicant’s family has various other existing loans.

Alumni: The alumni have also set up a fund to support admitted students based on need, and the assistance is provided on a pay-it-forward basis. The financial support is offered to IIIT Hyderabad students whose family income is below eight lakhs per annum from the 2nd semester, subject to availability and meeting stipulated criteria. Students above the income bar can also apply for the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad scholarship. They will be awarded tuition support if a committee finds their case to merit the same.
