Name of society: Amaltas Educational Welfare Society
Registration incorporation: 03/27/03/16579/13 dated 18th December, 2013.

The Members of the Society are eminent and highly successful doctors, administrators, journalists, businessmen and other professionals of the highest caliber. They aim to implement objectives of the Society.

Amaltas Institute of Nursing Sciences was started by Amaltas Educational Welfare Society with a motive to provide quality services to the society. Our aim is to provide world class health science education to benefit all the section of the society.We pay a great deal of attention to our academic ethos which includes constant updates, continuous evaluation system for our students working as a team with excellent faculty to provide a congenial academic environment. We also aim in encouraging students to participate actively in extra-curicular activities to ensure all round personalty development. COURSES OFFERED

GNM:

• The min. age 17 year and maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
• Minimum education:10+2 class passed with any Stream (prefer Science (PCB)) with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School With 45% marks.
• 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.(according to INC).
• Candidates with foreign qualifications will have to obtain the equivalence certificate from Association of Indian universities , New Delhi , who will have equivalent qualifications as equivalent to the 10+2 of India.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.

Required Documents:

• Application form and self addressed stamped envelope size 23 x 10 cm.
• Attested copy of S.S.L.C. (10th) Examination mark sheet.
• Attested copy of Senior Secondary Certificate (10 + 2) or equivalent examination mark sheet. In case result is not declared, the mark sheet has to be produced at the time of interview.
• Passport size attested photographs (10)
• If ST/ SC/ OBC, attested certificate of the same.
• Migration certificate in original
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate
• Identification Aadhar Card/Pan Card
• T.C. from the institution last attended (Orginal)?
• Gap Certificate
• Embassy certificate from NRI students
• Medical Fitness Certificate from Medical Practitioner.

ADMISSION

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION 

• First preference for admission to the course would be given to the domicile of M.P. In case of non-availability, candidates from outside M.P. may be considered.
• Age of candidate should not be less than 17 years as on 31st Dec. of the year of admission.
• Candidate must be medically fit. They will have to appear before a medical board constituted for this purpose by the medical college.
• Candidates who are already in service will be required to apply through proper Channel along with N.O.C. from their employer.
• Selection of the candidates will be based on the merit of the entrance examination and personal interview held by the institution.
• List of selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board of the college, on the next day of the last interview.
• All the Courses are full time. The candidate shall not register for any other degree/diploma along with Nursing Course. If found guilty, legal action will be taken against him.

INSTITUTE LIBRARY

The library of the institute is stocked and equipped with more than 3,000 medical & nursing books, Indian and International e-journals, newspapers, periodicals and magazines. E-journals can be accessed through internet using software Proquest, J-Gate + and clinical key.
 

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTRE/COMPUTER LAB

The college has well established computer lab with internet facility which is accessible to all learners so as to keep themselves updated with the current trends and technologies in nursing.
 

MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH (MCH) LAB

Maternal and child health is given prime attention in our country. The MCH lab is equipped with antenatal examination simulator, Gynecological examination model, delivery model, charts and other equipments.
 

NURSING FOUNDATION LAB

Nursing is a skill based profession. Nursing Foundation Lab is equipped with all advanced equipments, articles, models, charts, and mannequins to enhance the nursing skills of the learners.
 

COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING LAB

Community lab is well equipped to develop skills for rendering service in rural and urban community.
 

NUTRITION LAB

Nutrition lab is equipped and well furnished with utensils, nutritional charts, models.
It is well ventilated with good lighting and adequate water facilities.
 

PRE-CLINICAL SCIENCE LAB

The lab is equipped with models, charts, specimens, microscopes and slides to provide better understanding of Human Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology.
 

AUDIO-VISUAL LAB

The audiovisual lab consist of OHP, LCD, TV, Posters, Flannel board, Model and other teaching learning materials for effective teaching learning process.
 

MULTIPURPOSE HALL (AUDITORIUM)

The institute has an advanced auditorium with centralized air conditioning, adequate seating facility, modern light system and digital sound facility. Individual mike control facility is also available on chairs.
 

CLINICAL ZONE

PARENT HOSPITAL

Amaltas Medical College and Hospital is the parent Hospital of Amaltas College of Nursing. It is a 300- bedded Super Specialty Hospital with advanced diagnostic laboratory.
 

AFFILIATED HOSPITAL

Mental Hospital Indore is affiliated with 55 bedded M.G.M. Medical College, Indore for Psychiatric training.
 

COMMUNITY ZONE

Students of Amaltas Institute of Nursing are regularly utilizing the rural and urban community area covered by Community Health Centre, Sonkutch, Dewas, and PrimaryHealth Centers Bhoransa Dewas.

Activities of the nursing students include early identification of health problems by regular home visits, participation in National Health Programmes like Pulse-Polio Immunization Programme, Measles Immunization Awareness Programme, Community Nutrition Development Programme, Reproductive and Child Health Services and School Health Services etc.

CO-CURRICULAR ZONE

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Facilities of in-door and outdoor games like chess, badminton, carom, volley ball, handball, tennis, cricket, hockey and football are available for the nursing students. One hour of outdoor activity per day is promoted for better physical health of the students.
 

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Cultural programmes are organized on various occasions. The students are encouraged to participate in dance, skits, mime shows, tableaux etc to help promote inherent talent of the nursing students.
