Aurovindo College of Nursing is a premier college in Madhya Pradesh for Degree in B.Sc. Nursing education approved by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, Director Medical Education Govt. of M.P., Department of Higher Education Govt. M.P. & Affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Run by "Vivekanand Vichardham Shiksha Evam Samaj Kalyan Samiti, Bhopal" society registered under madhya pradesh society registration act 1973. no. 44.having Reg. No 179 / 90 The process of learning of science and medical that has revolution human life should be made an opportunity for acquiring knowledge which can be used to improve standards of training to a greater extent and ultimately which would promote development of the country. The future progress of the country is based on the skillful nursing education the rapid change in the medical world is too fascinating.
Medical advancement has displayed tremendous alteration to the betterment of mankind, and it will, in future be more captivating in multifarious scientific areas.
Climate of Bhopal

• Bhopal the capital of Madhya Pradesh, is centrally situated and is connected by rail, road and air with many big, cities of the country. It is at an altitude of 550'. The Climate is also moderate with temperature ranging from 10°C to 45°C. Bhopal is the Capital of Madhya Pradesh.

Aims and objectives of ACN Scheme

• The nursing sectors has suddenly opened up avenues, which require a very large specially trained manpower. These sectors are highly dynamic & need training & re-training of manpower at a rapid rate. In modern era this new medical nursing boon & nursing professionals has created a challenging situation before manpower training institute of the country.

Campus

• The college campus is located about 3 Kms. to Railway station and Bus stand Bhopal. City Buses, Auto etc. are available 24 hours. All facilities like conveyance, food, stationery items, park are available here.

College Building

• Presently College is located at a very convenient point, two Kilometers away from famous commercial area M.P. Nagar. Building is very spacious having large campus with 16-20 Rooms, seminar hall, auditorium and play ground etc. having well furnished classrooms each having accommodation for 50-60 students. College is complementing to have its own building (5.5 acres land) which is under Construction and will be shortly completed, classrooms are well ventilated, airy and equipped with all teaching aids.

Staff

• Our faculties are well qualified, having good experience from big organisation. Full time & Visiting facilities are available in ACN. We conduct special classes for weak students in English.

Faculty

• College Pays proper importance in identifying/ Selecting faculty members proper system of selection of faculty members has been developed by the Institution. Qualification and experience are the major factors Considered in Selecting the faculty members. At present College has so many qualified and experienced faculty members. Some of them having post graduate degree in the subject the long teaching experience. In addition to these College has got a system of Inviting senior & experience professors from different Colleges & organisations for special classes.

Management & Organisation

• The college is governed by an Educative society consisting 10 members including Advisory Committee member.

• 6 Months internship in reputed medical college, hospitals & medical research centre i.e. ESCORT, APOLLO, AIMS, HINDUJA Hospitals.

• This encourages emotional interaction among students to a very great extent.

• If students get 75% aggregate in yearly examination. They will be awarded by scholarships.

Aurovindo College of Nursing has been established in the year 2006, by Vivekanand Vichardham Shiksha Evam Samaj Kalyan Samiti (Vivekanand Education Group-1990), Bhopal registered under the society registration act of M.P. Government. It is situated in the heart of Madhya Pradesh in Bhopal. well connected by Air, Rail & Roadways. This college is approved by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, Director Medical Education Govt. of M.P., Department of Higher Education Govt. M.P. & Affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

Dear Student,
Most Welcome to Aurovindo College of Nursing, Bhopal. Nurses are key members of the medical health services. Nurses teams are often the largest contingent of professionals on hand at a hospital community health nursing and different site. The first line role in nursing management is hospital care with all the more significant views of their ability to provide both individual care and to deal with people's needs.
In this context Aurovindo College of Nursing has supported the student in developing their career by training B.Sc. Nursing, G.N.M. & A.N.M. etc. The degree training package has been designed of efficient infrastructure to equip nursing personal with higher education, well experienced devoted for profession have additional skills in out reach of nursing education services.
We are expecting our future programme like post graduation in nursing at our college so that you.
Ultimately we hope that nursing training would contribute to the country's medical health services at different sites. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED ON ADMISSION
The following documents and fee must be submitted along with the Admission from dully filled in clear hand writing with signature of students and parents/guardian with a photo affixed on the form before last date of admission.

• Two Photostat copies of mark sheet of 10th class (HSC), 12th class (HSSC) Exam (PCB) and Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) / (if any)
• Transfer Certificate from the School/Institute last attended.
• Character Certificate from the School/Institute last attended.
• Certificate of Games/Sports, NCC and other extracurricular activities.
• Passport size and 4 recent photographs (of face only).
• Cash or D.D. of required fee.
• Original Mark sheets of HSC and HSSC (which will be returned after verification.
• Affidavit / Declaration from signed by the Parent / Guardian.

Identity Card
Students are issued identity cards of this College after admission. The Students must carry identity cards all the time in the college and in the town. The Identity Card has to be produced on demand by any member of the staff. If the identity cards is lost, the matter should be reported to the management of the College immediately. The identity card should be returned to the college proctor when student finally leaves the college.
VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS
Candidates will be admitted to the college only when records, certificate marks etc. are verified from original documents on personal appearance before the admission committee and also after depositing the necessary fees. The candidate who have been debarred/rusticated from school/college will not be admitted under any circumstances. If it is found that the candidate has succeeded in getting the admission to the college on the basis of false/incorrect information or with holding relevant facts or if at any time after the admission it is found that the admission was given to the candidate due to some mistake or over sight, admission granted to the candidate shall be liable to cancellation, with out any notice, at any time during the course of his/her studies.
Fees Structure

• Tution Fee : Rs. 50000.00
• Hostel & Mess Fee : Rs. 24000.00

Payment of College dues will be accepted in cash or bank draft issued in favour of 'VIVEKANAND VICHARDHAM SHIKSHA EVAM SAMAJ KALYAN SAMITI' Payable at Bhopal.

CAUTION MONEY DEPOSIT
Student should tender fees and obtain receipts at the counter. These receipts should be preserved by the students carefully. The first year fee (admission fee, tuition, Reg. fee & Others) are payable along with admission form & second year onwards fee falls due can be paid up to 15th of July. If 15th of the month fall on Sunday/holiday the next working day will be the last day for payment of the fees. A fine of Rs. 10/- per day will be charged in case of delayed payments. If payments is not made by the due date name of the defaulter will be removed from college rolls. He/She may how ever, be re-admitted after clearing the arrears and payment of admission fees of Rs. 3000/- provided that such readmission is ought before the end of month.

NOTE

• University Registration / Re-Registration fee for each year will be charge by the students for appearing in the examination.
• Any change in the university fee will be charge by the students..
• University examination fee & other fee for appearing in the examination will be charge by the students.

Rules & Regulation

GENERAL

• has to maintain College discipline, in or outside of the College, smoking, abuse, alcohol, involvement in politics or any gathering activity (which may effect the study atmosphere or may put College in discomfort) is strictly prohibited.
• 75% attendance in each class is required to appear in the final examination.
• change in the rules and regulations has to be abided by every student without any protest.
• decision of the Management of the College will be final and binding in case of any dispute arising in any matter.
• any kind of misbehavior with staff or creating disturbances in class room and in the College premises by a students or group of students, a full range of disciplinary action will be taken i.e. student will be expelled from the Institute and depending upon his/her fault can be under legal action. A student expelled on disciplinary grounds will be never readmitted to this College.

INFORMATION TO PARENTS / GUARDIANS
An effort on the part of the college, however, sincere and dedicated it may be, will go all waste, unless whole hearted co-operation comes from the guardians of the students as well as the students them selves. The process of learning is always like two way traffic. Therefore, aclose, consistent and integrated interaction between the college and the guardians is most essentially required. The College has laid down an open clear administrative and academic plan :

• college provide the services of the best possible highly qualified and experienced Professors/Lecturers.
• provide a congenial and educational environment to the students in the college.
• Efficient arrangements of practical is undertaken along with the theory.
• A cumulative record of performance of the students is maintained and the guardians are duly informed of the progress of their wards.
• Internal examinations / Monthly test are conducted and the guardians are duly informed.
• An attempt is always made to have more working days.
• Discipline and its observance in an earnest manner is a hall mark of the college.
• In order to see an efficient functioning of the college, all the guardians are requested to lend a helping and co-operating hand to the working teams, both on administrative side and the academic side.

Student Discipline
​​​​​​​Students are expected to maintain a high standard of discipline. The following are deemed to be acts of indiscipline.

• Disregards of College rules, order and notices.
• Irregular attendance and un-authorised absence from classes.
• Persistent negligence in studies.
• Recourse to unfair means in test and examinations.
• Failure to produce identity card on demand by member of staff at any time and place, within the institute, hostel and town.
• Un sportsman like behaviour in indoor and outdoor games.
• Negligent use to College property.
• Disregards of orders and instructions of the members of the college staff.
• Noisly boisterous, disorderly and obnoxious behaviours.
• Lack of Punctuality in attendance, in payment of College dues and in other matters where dates and time of any duties, functioning or obligation are prescribed.
• Ragging of Junior students.
• Recourse to false, Fraudulent statements or acts.
