Established by the Bethany Navajeevan Province of Bethany Ashram and managed by Bethany Fathers
Bethany Ashram, the umbrella organization which shelters BCN, is an International Catholic Religious Congregation (an indigenous Sanyasa Ashram) founded by Servant of God Mar lvanios in 1919 aimed at integral renewal of society at large. Throughout its 100 years of history, Bethany Ashram has been making its own brands in the fields of education, health care and human resource development. It has been actively contributing to the country by churning out, year after year, student who are intellectually, physically, mentally and spiritually equipped to play an active role in nation-building.

Bethany College of Nursing draws its inspiration from the Servant of God Archbishop Mar Ivanios OIC, and the founder of Bethany Congregations, who has shown us an effective way of building up our society as a better place to live in. He believed like many of his contemporaries that the upliftment of the society can be brought by the presence of a group of educated people only.
He was one of those people who believed that education was indeed a liberating factor that could not only free the Indian Society from evils like untouchability and anti-feminism, but also make the world a better place to live in so that the light of God could shine deeper into the lives of his people.

BCN is approved, associated and affiliated with well known institutions in India & abroad. Eligibility

• Aged between 17-24 on or before 31st December of the year of admission qualification in 10+2 or equivalent with an aggregate of 55% in the science subjects and English. Students will have to undergo an entrance examination conducted by the State.

Admission

• Admission is strictly on the basis of merit, subjected to medical fitness. The decision of Management for the selection of the students will be final.
• The duly filled in application forms should reach the College before the prescribed time with the necessary documents.
• The candidate has to produce a fitness certificate along with a declaration counter signed by the parents/guardian that she does not suffer from any chronic disabilities like arthritis, asthma or any such disability which cannot be easily diagnosed during the medical examination. However if a student is found to be suffering from any such disability within three months, he/she will be terminated.
• The selected candidate should produce original certificates, marks sheets and testimonials at the time of admission which will be retained in the Office, till the student leaves the college.
• The candidate shall deposit the prescribed fees within 15 days of the announcement of results of the tests conducted. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the cancellation of the admission.
• Admission to the students granted in Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh   is provisional until the eligibility certificate is issued.
