There is world wide shortage of trained Nurses. Apart from opportunities within the State of J&K, students of B.R. College will be eligible to get jobs in any part of the country. With little additional training they can make themselves eligible for world wide employment. There has been tremendous advancement in the field of medicine and the treatment of diseases has become complex and specialized. Highly trained graduate nurses are urgently required to meet this need all over the world. Students of B.R.College Will be ideally suited to fulfill this need.

Aims And Objectives

• To promote to help nursing students in corporate cognitive, technical, interpersonal and ethical legal skills into safe and effective patient care.
• To emphasize the basic peineifites of patient care.
• To emphasize unexpected situations that the Nurses may encounter along with related intervention how to respond to unexpected situations.
• To Nursing Skills which may need to be performed in combination for patents needs.

GNM

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery(GNM) is a three years programme,and GNM Lateral entry is a Two years programme aimed to prepared student to work effectively as a member of the health team. Career Scope
After completing these courses you will become a "Registered Nurse Midwife". Nursing career has unlimited job opportunities.
