About College
Catering to increasing demands for nurses by the health care sector the career society started the career college and school of nursing in the year 2015.The college is approved by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council, Bhopal and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The college is affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur.
Aim
Our aim is to impart nursing education of high standard so that the students passing out from this institute will be able to render quality nursing care to all the clients in the hospital, community and the various settings such as school, industry etc. with compassion and care.
VISION
To prepare nurses who will work in the hospital and community with dedication, devotion, compassion and kindness.
To develop a Centre for Excellence in nursing which will provide Quality educational programs which are evidence based and encourages innovations to improve patient care. Every student nurse who passes out from this institute will be an epitome of nursing with adequate scientific knowledge and will be able to work at primary, secondary and tertiary levels of care within the country and abroad.
Develop a research cell where the ongoing researches will help to improve patient care and nursing education.

Courses
M.Sc. Nursing
- Â Â Duration : 2 year
- Â Â Medium of Instruction : English
- Â Examination Board : Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University , Jabalpur
Eligibility
- Â The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
- Â The Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- Â The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Â Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post B.Sc. Nursing.
Note: Simultaneous attending in other courses is not permitted. It will be applicable to all the above courses.
Objectives
On completion of the 2 year M.Sc. Nursing programme, the graduates will be able to
- Â Apply the concepts, theories and principles of nursing science.
- Â Demonstrate competencies in nursing practice.
- Â Practice as Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- Â Establish collaborative relationship with the members of other disciplines.
- Â Assume leadership in various care settings.
- Â Participate in health planning, implementation and evaluation at different levels of health care system.

- Â Conduct independent nursing research and utilize the research findings in nursing practice and education.

B.Sc Nursing
- Duration : 4 year
- Medium of Instruction : English
- Examination Board : Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University , Jabalpur
Eligibility
Educational Qualification
- 10+2 with minimum 45% marks in Science (PCB) from any Recognized Board.
- Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
- 17 years to be completed on 31 st December in the year of admission
- 5% of total marks relaxed for SC/ ST candidates.
- Any other reservation as per the State Government under the Reservation Policy.
Objectives
At the end of the course students will be able to
- Apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral sciences including alternative systems and nursing in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities.
- Demonstrate competency in the skills and techniques of nursing based on concepts and principles from selected areas of physical, biological and behavioral science by using the nursing process.
- Render comprehensive care to family and community through the nursing process.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skill in making decisions in all situations in order to provide quality care. Take up leadership role as first level managers in nursing service and education.
- Recognize the need for continued learning for their personal and professional development. Participate in promotive, preventive and restorative health care delivery system.
- Practice moral and ethical values in the nursing profession.
- Apply the knowledge of research methodology and conduct need based research projects.
GNM
- Duration : 3 year
- Medium of Instruction: English
- Examination Board : Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council
Eligibility
Educational Qualification
- 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks at the qualifying examination. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of School(NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English having 40% marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- 10+2 with English having 40% marks in vocational stream – health care science from a recognized CBSE board / State/ Centre.
- Registered ANM with pass mark.
- Minimum age is17 years to be completed on 31st December of the year of admission. Upper limit is 35 years.
- 5% of total marks relaxed for SC /ST candidates.
- Any other reservation as per the State Government under the Reservation Policy.
Objective
- Demonstrate competency in providing healthcare to individual sick or well using nursing process.
- Apply knowledge from the humanities ,biological and behavioral sciences in functioning as a nurse
- Function effectively with members of the health team and community applying the knowledge of human relations and communication skills in her work.
- Participate as a member of the health team in delivery of curative, preventive, promotive and rehabilitative health care service.
- Mobilise community resources and their involvement in working with the communities.
- Demonstrate use of ethical values in their personal and professional life.
- Demonstrate interest in activities of professional organization.
- Recognise the need for continuing education for professional development.
- Demonstrate basic skills in teaching patients and giving nursing care to them.
- Demonstrate basic skills in administration and leadership while working with other members of health team and community.
