The first institution that was started by the trust in the year 2003 was the Christian College of Nursing and Raja Ram Mohan Roy College of Education.

NURSING STREAM

Nursing truly is one of the most honoured and trusted profession, as it is stepped in rich values based on the work of Florence Nightingale, which has not degraded over the time. Due to the character of the individuals as they are committed to the calling, there is nothing more worthwhile than a patient giving thanks and telling you how much you have helped them.

In today’s challenging world, nurses play a pivotal role to make this world a healthy and safer place to live. Nurses have extended and expanded role in this dynamic world from registered nurse, clinical specialist, nurse practitioner, nurse administrator and nurse educator, which are few among the scope of opportunities in the field of nursing carrier.

Nursing is the protection, promotion and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, facilitation of healing, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, groups, communities and populations.

GENERAL NURSING & MIDWIFERY

The study program of GNM Nursing (General Nursing and Midwifery) also, in short called GNM, focuses on educating students on the topics of general health care and midwifery in the field of nursing. The GNM study program is meant to prepare, general nurses who can efficiently perform as members of the health team and who are capable, and can deal the competencies and challenges in both the hospitals, clinics and other such organizations. The learning program is to inculcate the knowledge about patient care, medicines and rehabilitation. This is definitely a job oriented course, in which the student can later upgrade her/him self’s to higher studies in the streams of nursing. After completing this course, successful candidates may register themselves as registered nurse or midwife with the state nurse registration council.

Eligibility

Must have a Pass in PUC/12th /+2 or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 45% marks in English and a minimum 17 years of age and a Maximum 35 years of age.
