GNM Nursing:

The basic diploma course in general nursing and midwifery is geared to the health needs of the individual, family, community and the country at large. The aims of GNM programme is to prepare nurse with a sound educational programme in nursing to enable them to function as efficient members of the health team, beginning with the competencies for first level positions in all kind of health care settings and to serve as a base for further professional education and specialization in nursing.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : The Candidate should have passed +2 or equivalent qualifying examination with science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, with an aggregate of 45% marks.

DURATION OF COURSE :The course of GNM Nuring will extend over a period of Three academic years. The curriculam and syllabus for the course will be prescribed from time to time by University.

COLLEGE WORKING HOURS : The college functions full day from Monday to Saturdays and the working hours are from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m on all working days.

DISCONTINUATION : Candidates who want to discontinue will be subjected to abide with the rules of the College. The need to pay the fees prescribed for the whole course period.
