ABOUT US 

Ambedkar Institute of Nursing , has been established in the year 1989-90 by Ananda Social and Education Trust. Now the name of the institution has been changed to DR. B. R. Ambedkar Institute Of Nursing. This separate building of the nursing school, and a college has a hostel facilities and attached to Dr.Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital for clinical and teaching purpose. The hospital which has 750 beds with specialty clinics, ICU, Blood Bank and RNTCP ,Provides training and learning facilities to nursing students.

We recognize that nursing is based on values of caring, human health and aims to help individuals attain independence of self care .The principle of the college is the noble idea of service orientation with a spirit of renunciation ,sacrificing one's own self interest for a great causes towards sufferings.

The Anand Social Educational Trust (AS & ET) was established dreamed by committed person in 1980 to contribute for the betterment of under - privileged people, by providing quality education.

Ambedkar Institute Of Nursing and Mathrusri Bheemabai Ambedkar Institute of Physiotherapy and Para-Medical Courses in a Sprawling campus of 25 acres . Mathrusri Bheemabai Ambedkar Dental College is located at cline road Cooke town.

GENERAL NURSING & MIDWIFERY

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery - 3 years Eligibility

Student must have passed Pre-University Examination / 10+2 or Equivalent (Science, Humanities & Commerce)

Seminars / Workshops / Guest Lecture / project / Written Test and Examination /Hospital Visit / Clinical Presentation / Health Education.

Higher Education

• After the completion of G.N.M. Course, the students can join the PC. B.Sc. (Nursing)& other professional courses in Nursing, Hospital Management, etc.
