Dr. Krishna Gopal Dwivedi Ayurvedic Medical College has a full-fledged Ayurvedic Hospital, the students are ensured of qualitative practical experience along with teaching offered by learned Ayurvedic medical practitioners and scholars.

Location

College is situated on the Karari Raksa bye pass road. 2 Km away from Jhansi Gwalior National Highway No 75, 12 Km from Jhansi City. Jhansi is a well known Bundelkhand place of India known by Rani Laxmi Bai (Rani Jhansi). Bundelkhand region is famous for Ayurvedic Medicinal Plants having a big Ayurvedic factory of India named as Baidyanath Ayurvedic Bhavan Jhansi (U.P.).

About College Hospital

The College has one well Established 60 bed hospital and has 8 specialized. O.P.Ds. along with 24 hours. Emergency services with all modern facilities. The college has a Mobile clinic in the Ambulance so that medical student may learn properly the Ayurvedic treatment in urban as well as in rural areas. It is the first and only one private Ayurvedic Medical college of Bundelkhand region having NOC by U.P. Government and Affiliation with Bundelkhand University Jhansi. It has got permission from Ministry of Ayush government of India.

Course offered

The college offers the B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurved Medicine and Surgery) course with 50 seats.

Eligibility

The student must have 10+2 (Science) qualification with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Duration

The course Duration for B.A.M.S. is four and half years and one year rotating Internship.

Accommodation

The college and hospital have two grand buildings which are separate and situated in more than ten Acres Land. The college has separate boys and girls hostel with separate canteen for boys and girls.

" I, Dr Krishna Gopal Dwivedi the, founder chairman /President of Dr. Krishna Gopal Dwivedi Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital Sarmau, Jhansi (U.P.) belong to rural atmosphere, born in a village Gaharauli District Hamirpur (U.P.)

Few years ago a thought came in my mind that being a Ayurved Graduate. I must do something for the development of Ayurved by establishing either a Ayurvedic Medical College or a big Medicinal Ayurvedic Manufacturing Factory or by developing a wide herbal Medicinal Plants Garden.

Since the beginning in my life I always remained anxious in education projects due to that Inspiration I first, established a primary school then a junior high school, intermediate college, a degree college and a Ayurvedic Medical College also. My colleagues Shri Rakes Kumar Agarawal (Advocate) and Dr. B.M. Gupta paid their full co-operation to full fill my dream project establishment of Dr. Krishna Gopal Dwivedi Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital Sarmau, Jhansi (U.P.) I will remain, always, thank full to my colleagues (Partners), my family members and my dear friends also.

मैं बुंदेलखंड के सबसे पिछड़े व गरीब क्षेत्र टीकमगढ़ (म. प्र.) का मूल निवासी हूँ | झाँसी से बी. एस. सी. (बायो.) करने के बाद मैंने पांच साल का आयुर्वेदाचार्य का ( दिल्ली विद्यापीठ ) डिग्री कोर्स किया | चूँकि आयुर्वेदिक जगत से नाता होने के कारण जब मुझे ज्ञात हुआ कि डॉ. के. जी. द्विवेदी जी एक आयुर्वेदिक मेडिकल कॉलेज कि स्थापना करना चाहते है तो मैं भी इस पुनीत कार्य में पूर्णतया उनके साथ हो गया और डॉ. कृष्ण गोपाल द्विवेदी आयुर्वेदिक मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं चिकित्सालय सारमऊ , झाँसी संस्था की स्थापना ग्रामीण पिछड़े एवं गरीब क्षेत्र बुंदेलखंड में की | भविष्य में मेरी इच्छा चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में एम. डी. (आयुर्वेदिक), एम. बी. बी. एस. , एम. डी./ एम. एस. व अन्य पैरामेडिकल कोर्सेस शुरू करने की है ताकि बुंदेलखंड क्षेत्र ताकि बुंदेलखंड का पिछड़ापन व गरीबी दूर हो सके एवं बुंदेलखंड क्षेत्र के निवासियों को चिकित्सा एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा का पूर्ण लाभ मिल सके | इस कार्य में मेरे सहयोगी डॉ. के.जी. द्विवेदी जी व डॉ. बाल मुकुन्द गुप्ता जी है जो कन्धा से कन्धा मिलाकर साथ चल रहे है और भविष्य में भी इसी पथ पर सभी अग्रसर रहेंगे |
