Welcome To G T R College Of Nursing East Godavari Andhra Pradesh:-
The college was established in the year, 2009 after obtaining permission from government of Tamil Nadu (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) vide G.O. (Ms.) No.162, dated 02.06.2006, G.O. (Ms.) No. 279 dated 29.11.2016 & G.O. (Ms.) No. 406 dated 16.11.2017. GRT college of Nursing is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and recognised by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai and GRT School of Nursing is affiliated to Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and recognised by Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai.

FROM OUR PRINCIPAL’S DESK 
GRT College & School of Nursing was established in the year, 2009 and is housed in an independent block of GRT campus under GRT Mahalakshmi Educational Charitable Trust. With the prudent guidance of Shri. G. RAJENDRAN (Chairman). The institution has emerged as a new educational movement, responsible for spreading value based high standard professional education to the people who are living in the remotest areas of the state for reaching the unreached population. As a Chairman and President, He is the driving force behind the growth of this institution.
It is time to come out and take a leap towards one’s career interests and areas of strength. Admission:-

B.Sc. Nursing

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR B.Sc., (NURSING)

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board (For SC/ST aggregate mark relaxed to 40%).
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.

BASIS OF SELECTION

• GOVERNMENT QUOTA: 65% seats will be filled by The Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai through counseling.
• MANAGEMENT QUOTA: 35% seats will be filled by the management on the basis of the merit list prepared by the college and interview.

HOW TO APPLY

• From the date of admission notification - Prospectus and the application forms can be obtained from the office of the Principal, Tiruttani on payment of Rs.1, 000/- (B.Sc Nursing) or can download the applicaton and filled in application can be submitted with Rs.1, 000/- in the office
• The candidate must fill in all the items in the original application form in her own handwriting. The application submitted should be complete in all respects.
• Self-attested copies of certificates/documents to be submitted along with the original application

Auxillary Nurse Midwife

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR A.N.M (Auxillary Nurse Midwife)

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
• The minimum educational requirements shall be 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.

BASIS OF SELECTION

• ANM: 100% seats will be filled by the management on the basis of the merit list prepared by the college and interview and follows the norms of Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.

Before even completing the courses the students are given job placement in the reputed corporate hospitals by means of campus interview.
