Qualified and experienced full-time nursing faculty provides the right mix of inputs comprising of theoretical, practical and clinical experience. Nursing training programs have been formulated in consultation with experts adhering to standards and guidelines. Hands-on-training is given to the students at the  multi super-speciality hospital, as well as in allied urban and rural health centers. Nursing students attend OPD sessions in the hospital. Students visit different places under community connect and provide primary health services. Student actively participates in health awareness programs.

ANM (AUXILIARY NURSING & MIDWIFERY)

ABOUT THE COURSE :

• ANM (Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery) Course is a two years Diploma Course related to the sector of Nursing. Nursing is an important part in healthcare industry. Nurses play a vital role in the smooth functioning of the various areas of health organizations (Hospital, Dispensaries, NGOs etc.)
• Nursing is the discipline that focuses on care, rehabilitation or treatment of patients.
• ANM Course train students and learn them with tending “knowledge to make them work as basic health workers”. The main motto of ANM course is to teach students and create them capable of absorbing nursing apply in rural as well as urban areas. Special focus is given towards ladies, children and old age people.

COURSE DETAILS :

• ANM is diploma course. Duration – 2 years

• First year will be academic based.
• Second year is divided into two phases i.e. First six months are pure tutorial study based and next six months are dedicated towards situations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

• The candidates should be minimum 17 years on or before 31st December

• The maximum age shall be 30 years.
• The minimum education requirement shall be 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Elective or Science or Health care Science – vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
• Students shall be medically fit
• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.

GNM (THREE YEARS)

ABOUT THE COURSE:

• GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Course is a three year Diploma Course
• Course aims to prepare competent Nurse to provide holistic core in the Hospital & Community as a whole.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years.

FEE STRUCTURE

• As Per PNRC Chandigarh Norms.

MINIMUM EDUCATION :

• 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks.
• 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core / English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational steam ONLY, passing out from recognised Board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks. 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognised by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
• Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Student qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health care Science – Vocational steam ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.

BSC NURSING 

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• Minimum education:
  • 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.
