GOVERNMENT AND PNRC APPROVAL Genesis, Ferozepur is approved from The State Govt. and Dept. of Medical Education and Research (Health III Branch), Vide No. 2/102/2009-3 HB 111/6581 dated 01-09-10, and by PNRC, Chandigarh vide No. PNRC/20 12/3314 Dated 27-08-12. ABSON, is permanently & regularly recognized by Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh vide letter No. PNRC/97/ 1014 dated 27/05/1997, and the state council recognized the institute & permitted to admit the students for GNM training for session 2012-13 vide their letter No. PNRC/20 12/3238 dated 21/08/2012.

Ferozepur is affiliated to Indian Nursing Council (I.N.C), Delhi vide file no 02/MARCH/20 I 2 dated 30-03-2012 for B.Sc.(N) and File no. 02/MARCH/2012 dated 30.03.2012 for P.B.B.Sc.(N) Genesis is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & permitted to admit the students for GNM training session 2012-13 vide their office letter No. F.No.18-152/2001-INC dated 18th June 2012. The Indian Nursing Council New Delhi also permitted to admit the students for GNM training session 2013-14 vide their letter dated 07/02/2013.

It gives me immense pleasure to tell you that Genesis Institute of Nursing Ferozepur Stands apart from other nursing schools in state of Punjab to give the quality education to the nursing Professionals GNM Started in academic year 1993, B.Sc (N) in 2010 and Post Basic, B.Sc (N) 2010 has provided meritorious students. Since then. The excellent teaching facilities and families provide a superior learning experience to the student.
Our aim is to provide education and practice for the nursing students to maintain the health care standards. We believe that nursing students are accountable for quality nursing practice. General Nursing & Midwifery

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR GNM

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the year in which admission if sought.
• The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years
• The minimum educational requirement shall be passing of secondary school certificate Examination (10+2) class of central board secondary education or a recognized equivalent public examination in any stream with 40 % marks
• Admission is subjected satisfactory medical examination report.

B.SC NURSING

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR B.SC NURSING

• Candidate should have completed the age of I 7 years on or before 31st December of the Corresponding year of the PPM ET entrance exam.
• Candidate should havepassed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or equivalent from a recognized institution situated in the state of punjab or other State with minimum 45% aggregate marks
• Candidate should be medically fit.

POST BASIC-B.SC NURSING

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR POST BASIC-B.SC NURSING

• Candidate should have obtained certificate in General nursing and Midwife from an institution recognized by the State Nursing Council.
• Candidates should be registered as registered nurse and registered midwife from the State Nursing Registration Council, the candidate shall have passed the high or senior secondary or intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination of the university for this purpose.

Admission:-

Admission to B.Sc. Nursing will be done on the basis of PPM ET of the session in accordance with Policy guidelines contained in the Punjab Government Notification No 5/48/2007-3HB3/1982 dated 31.03.2008 and as amended from time to time. Admission Application forms as necessary by the Baba Farid University Health Sciences, Faridkot.
Prospectus is provided along with the application form. These instructions should be read in conjunction with rules laid by Central and State Governments, as amended from time to time. All candidates must visit BFUHS website www.bfuhs.ac.in for all updates. The process of admissions starts in May/June each year.

REQUISITES FOR ADMISSION

• As per notification of Punjab Government and guidelines notified in the prospectus of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Copies of the documents to be attached with the application.
