Who We Are

The Goutham Educational Academy was found in the year 1986 under the aegis of the Goutham Institute of Medical Science & Technology and has been duly registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act. The Goutham Educational Academy has since its inception built a formidable name in the field of Medical and Para Medical Education. The Board of Management of the Society consist of a group of selfless, dedicated and hardworking educationists whose endeavor in providing and establishing good professional education to the students has been a relentless effort on their part. The Management is headed by no less a person like Dr. A.T.S. GIRI, Whose missionary zeal in the guiding spirit behind the policies and stature of the college. The Institute has got adequate buildings and other infrastructure facilities located in the heart of the Garden City.

What We Do

The Nursing School is the first in India to introduce Computer Applicationpic3 in Nursing. The Academy has got very good Research Centers for various disciplines.Highly qualified and motivated professionals who are adept in providing the skills handle the classes and knowledge needed to meet the challenges of today. We provide outstanding facilities and the teachers are noted for their friendliness and professionalism and ever eager to help students to achieve greater academic success. The ladder of achievement of the curriculum is planned in such chairmana way that all the potential and inherent talents of the students are tapped and developed multi-dimensionally,
aided by Audio Visual, Computer and Library, Internet & Media facilities so as to flourish them with updated knowledge. The college offers a wide range of professional, Multi Cultural, Social, Sports and other extra curricular activities to unmask and grow the hidden talents and potential of the students.

Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery(G.N.M).

Diploma Nursing Examination Board and Indian Nursing Council

The Institute prepares students for the “A” Grade professionals in Nursing and Midwifery conducted by Karnataka State G.N.M. Examination Board under the auspices of the Director of Medical Education, Karnataka Nursing Council, Government of Karnataka. This course is already recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.

Eligibility :

Duration : Three academic years and six months Internship.
