Sri Srinivasa Charitable Trust was formed by a gathering of professionals in different fields for noble cause of providing quality of education. It is situated in No.193/4, Harsha Hospital Campus, Sondekoppa circle, NH4, Nelamangala, Bangalore-562123, and Karnataka, India. It is 20 KM away from Bangalore Railway station. Sri Srinivasa Charitable Trust ® having its own 250 bedded hospital and a Cardiac Critical Care Unit run by Harsha MS Ramaiah Hospital. Also an Affiliation to RMV Hospital. Hospital and college is having huge campus with lush green garden & many more. It is away from Sound pollution, Air pollution and crowded city life of Bangalore. It is an ideal place for learning to Study & for a carrier building.

General Nursing Midwifery (GNM)

The Course of study of General Nursing and Midwifery is 3.6 years.

Objectives of the Courses

Create awareness and skills required in the Nursing process in the provision of health care and Nursing of Patients. Demonstrate ability in self awareness, self evaluation in personal and professional life. Promotion of health, precautions against illness, restoration of health and rehabilitation.

Philosophy

The International Council of Nurses states that the unique function of the nurse is to assist the individual sick or well, in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery that he would perform unaided if he had the necessary strength, will or knowledge. And to do, this is in such away as to help him gain independence as rapidly as possible. Our School of Nursing believes that a basis in Nursing should prepare Nurses for first level position in Nursing both in the Hospital and Community. To achieve this, our school is having the opinion that good unit of basic scientific principles of communication and learning are essential, as nursing is believed to be a profession influenced by scientific and technological advances.

Recognition

Our G.N.M. Course is recognized by Government of Karnataka. Approved by Karnataka State Nursing Council, Bangalore.

Affiliated to Government of Karnataka RGHUS, KNC.

Eligibility for Admission

Candidates seeking admission should have:

Minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively. For ANM/LHV, there is no age bar.

10+2 class passed or equivalent.

ANM training i.e. 10+1.5 years training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination.

Admission of students shall be once in a year, Student should be medically fit.

In addition to the above, admission procedure can be laid down by concerned State Nursing Council/Nursing Examination Boards (S.I.B.E, M.I.E.B., C.M.A.I)
