About us 

Alam Hospital and Research Centre was established in the year 1985. Today, it has become a vast health care complex consisting of 150 beds with all specialists and some of the super-specialities. It is a hospital which boasts of a highly qualified team of Doctors and well trained Nurses. The hospital is well equipped with state of the art facilities &equipments.


The Nursing Department was staffed by a band of dedicated staff nurses and has been rendering dedicated service since then. With the improved medical and surgical services, professionally trained nursing personnel were a felt need of the hospital and as a response to which Ideal School of Nursing was founded in 2019 to provide GNM courses. Ideal Academy of Nursing Education came into existence in the year 2020 with various courses such as ANM(N), Basic BSC(N) and MSC(N) courses. All the nursing programmes provided are regular courses for better understanding about the academics and clinical trainings.

Ideal School of Nursing and Ideal Academy of Nursing Education are a sister concern of Alam Hospital and Research Centre started in the year 2019 and 2020 respectively, by Dr. Majeed Alam, a renowned surgeon and Director of Alam Hospital and Research Centre situated at Bariatu, Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Course 

General Nursing and Midwifery is a three-year diploma programme for boys and girls in the field of Nursing.

Purpose

Preparing talented GNM nurses for India and abroad.

Admission Requirements

• Unmarried candidates of good character & sound education between the age 17 and 35 years are accepted for the programme.


• The minimum education standard required for admissions are Intermediate or its equivalent and English should be a must subject.


• Candidates securing 45% & above marks can apply. Preference will be given to those with Science subjects.
