History
The Institute....
Indian Institute of Technical Trainings, Kartholi/Dassal(Inside Kala Gate), Ban Brahamna, Jammu came up with the vision "to nurture excellence in the education and provide key concepts and power insight into the field of para medical sciences."
The Institute was established by Shri Durga Dass Sharma Memorial Society, a registered society under the societies Registration Act-VI of 1998 (1941 AD) under the able guidance of dedicated medical professionals who have engaged themselves for free medical treatment through camps for over a decade and now engaged for skill development and technical courses to provide sustainable employment opportunities to poor, SC, ST and students from backward areas. The institute transform students into professionals at IIT-T, which is affiliated to State paramedical council/State Nursing Council J&K and recognized by Health and Medical Education Department vide Govt. Order No. 33-HME of 2010 dated 15-01-2010. The Institute is approved by Indain Nursing Council certificate No 18-14 /7925-INC and resolution 174/102/June/2011 Dated 10-12-2011 for ANM and vide their No 02/APR/2012 Dated 19/4/2012 and Renewed on Annual Basis.

NOC in favour of IIT-T, Bari Brahmna, Jammu has been renewed vide Govt.Order No.359-HME of 2011, dated 19/07/2011. Thereafter being renewed on Annual Basis.
Indian Nursing Council
The Indian Nursing Council is an Autonomous Body under the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare was constituted by the Central Government under section 3(1) of the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 of parliament in order to establish a uniform standard of training for nurses, Midwives and health visitors

The courses for GNM & ANM at IIT-T, Bari Brahmna have been approved by INC vide Certificate No.18-14/795 INC and Resolution 174/102/JUN/2011 dated 19/12/2011 for ANM & vide their letter No. 02/APR/2012, dated 19/04/2012 for GNM Programme and being renewed on Annual Basis.

All charges/ Fees once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances what so ever
1. Yearly Admission fees : Rs. 40, 000/-
Note : -
- Hospital Training & PHC duties in Hospitals according to rules.
- Hospital Training charges will be paid by the student through this Institute according to rules. Payments of Councils fees, exam fess, practical copies, books and other expenses are the responsibilities of students/ parents.
- Fees to be paid by the 7th day of the month, failing which the student will have to pay late fees.
- Separate hostels for boys & Girls are available.
- All disputes will be settled in Jammu jurisdiction only.

Admission
Admissions....
Admissions are open on merit basis as per the guidelines of J&K State Paramedical Council / State Nursing council. The admission form can be purchased alongwith information brochure from the premises of the Institute at Bari Brahamna, Jammu.
Eligibility criteria for admission to the courses offered by J&K State Paramedical Council....
1. For FMPHW and MMPHW courses shall be on the basis of merit of matriculation and 10+2 with science for other courses with age not more than 35 years in all the courses.
2. Selection shall be made by a Board of J&K State Paramedical Council, Jammu and Principal, AMT School, Jammu in addition to the representative from the management Of the institute
3. The candidate shall g,et registered with J&K State Paramedical Council(J&K state paramedical council) within one month of admission.
Eligibility criteria for admission to the courses of selection process of admission by Govt./BOPEE .
10+2 any stream for all the courses.
Eligibility criteria for admission to the courses offered by in INC/PNRC.
