Indirani College of Nursing
Indirani College of nursing was established in the year 2008 under Ramachandra Educational Trust with an aim to produce quality nursing education and prepare nurses with maximum radical transformation.
It is affiliated to Pondicherry university and it is recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives council.
The College of nursing is located in Puducherry in a spacious area  and attached with  850 bedded parent hospital and medical college of Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College and Research Centre are also accommodated. The eminent faculty members of college of Nursing are committed to develop nursing personnel through excellent enlightenment.

B.Sc Nursing

Eligibility

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission.
• The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: Higher Secondary school certificate Examination(12 years course), with science ( Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
• Minimum 45 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as a subject.
• Minimum 40 % aggregate marks for SC/ST students.
• Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination held by university or competent authority or as per regulation of the University from time to time.

Admission Requirement

• 10 + 2 marks card
• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended
• Conduct certificates from the Institution last attended
• Birth Certificates/ SSLC Certificate ( for birth proof)
• Identification proof ( Voter ID/PAN Card/ Passport/Adhar Card)
• Community Certificate (except OC candidates).
• Medical Fitness certificates
• Passport Size Photographs (5 No’s).

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Eligibility

• Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration
• Minimum 45 % aggregate marks in General Nursing and Midwifery.
• Minimum 40 % aggregate marks in General Nursing and Midwifery for SC/ST students.

Admission Requirement

• GNM marks card
• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended
• Conduct certificates from the Institution last attended
• Birth Certificates/ SSLC Certificate ( for birth proof)
• Identification proof ( Voter ID/PAN Card/ Passport/Adhar Card)

M.Sc. Nursing

Eligibility

• The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of: B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks, should be a registered nurse.
• Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• 7.5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given. Entrance/ Selection test: In entrance test minimum pass 50% in accordance to the policy of Government.
• Should have registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai or with other state Nursing Council

• Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
