B Sc Nursing

B.Sc. Nursing program is aimed at preparing graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurse and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. It prepares the nurse to make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. Duration of the course is 4 years.

Admission Procedure

• Admission to B.Sc. Nursing First year of the four years degree course is conducted through Central Online Counseling administered by Chhattisgarh Professional Examinations Board(CPEB). The dates and other details of such counseling are displayed through advertisement in local newspapers as well as their official website.

Eligibility

• The candidate should be medically and physically fit and passed HSSC (10+2) exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects with having at least 45% aggregate marks for general category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC category to under go the course of studies.
