About Us
ASIA CHARITABLE TRUST has established the JG College of Nursing with the motto of “Human Touch and Divine Healing” in the year 2006 with the student intake of 60. In the year 2010 Institute launched PG program (M.Sc. Nursing)with all specialties in nursing such as Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing. Continuing with the achievement due to excellence in work, institute has started another new program General Nursing and Midwifery (Diploma) with the student intake of 40 and Post Basic B.Sc. nursing program with the student intake of 30 in the year 2011.
Our JG School/College of Nursing is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. It is approved by Gujarat State Nursing Council, and affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.These nursing programs (M.SC Nursing, B. Sc. Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery(GNM), Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing) contains basic subjects like Human Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, sociology,
Psychology and Bio-chemistry, Nutrition, Sociology, etc. which will lay the base for the students for nursing practice. This college gives exposure to the students for Nursing Foundation, Medical Surgical Nursing,Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Community Health Nursing to enable students come out as a professional Nurse. In addition, these courses also help the students to develop their skills, knowledge, and understanding in the field of research, administration and education.
We provide Hostel Facility with hygienic and nutritional food to the students. We also offer training to the students for campus placement, we maintain 1:10 teacher student ratio as per INC norms, and our library is equipped with thousands of books with new editions as well as facility of national and international e-journals. We provide many opportunities to the students in participating in inter-college competitions and competing with other colleges of Gujarat state.

Dear Students, Staff and Parents JG College of Nursing was started in the year 2006 with all fore sight and vision of our honourable chairman Shri JG Varghese to prepare professional nurses, in order to improve standards of nursing services through quality education. The JG College of Nursing is best college among all private institutes of Gujarat state and we offer different programs in nursing like Basic B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing. Our college has recognition from GNC, INC-New Delhi and Gujarat University.
College is equipped with qualified and competent faculty, good physical infrastructure, library and most importantly students get opportunity for clinical practice in government, municipal and private corporate hospital.
Nursing students do have benefit from contribution of interdisciplinary teaching faculty and ample opportunity for extra curricular activities. We are proud to say that all our alumni are selected in various hospitals, and nursing institutes in Gujarat state , out of Gujarat and foreign country.
High standards and expectations for each student in regard to academic performance, co-curricular participation, and responsible citizenship are the foundation of our college.
