Adarsh Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was established in 1962 to serve the needy and the weaker section in the society. The trust today runs several institutions from KG to PG, in various departments such as Pharmacy, paramedical ,Enginering, Education, Business Management, CBSE, Health Sciences Courses . However the Trust felt that human services should be rendered to the people by preparing nurses to meet the health demands and thus the schools and college of Nursing were established. K T Patil College of Nursing was established in the year 2009 to promote nursing education which is a pivot in the health care delivery system and it aids in the progress of research in field of nursing. 
The institution was initially offering B.Sc in Nursing. But as years rolled on, its rays had spread to other latitudes in nursing education such as General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) in 2011 and Auxillary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) in the year 2011 .
The college of BSc Nursing is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Hearth Sciences Nasik,Maharashtra and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and by the Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai. The college believes in preparing nurses from all states of India and abroad to meet the great challenges of service in the field of nursing. Nursing must keep themselves abreast of new findings enabling them to advance along with other health professionals if the people (consumers) are to be assured of a healthy health care programme.
Henceforth the college prepares its students to develop ability to critically analyze problems and take responsibility effectiveness throughout their careers. A.N.M.

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
• The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.

G.N.M.

Minimum and Maximum age:  for admission will be 17 and 35 years. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.

Minimum education:

• 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks.
• 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
• 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
• Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.

Basic B.Sc Nursing

B.Sc Nursing is a  bachelor degree program offered at the university level. The undergraduate nursing program is broad-based education within an academic framework specially directed to the development of critical thinking skills, competence, and standards required for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery as envisaged in national health policy 2002. B.Sc. Nursing program prepares its graduates to become an exemplary citizen by adhering to a code of ethics and professional conduct at all times in fulfilling personal, social and professional obligations so as to respond to national aspirations.These graduate nurses are prepared to work as a care provider, educator, coordinator, advocator, researcher, counselor & administrator etc.
They can become post graduate nurse after completing the M.Sc Nursing and M.Phil & Ph.D. Nursing and become nursing faculty , work as senior nursing managers in hospitals and as program coordinators in various projects and researchers.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

• Only female candidates are given admission for course.
• The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31 December of the year of admission.
• The minimum educational requirement is the passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years Course) 

OR

• 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
• Candidate must be physically and mentally fit for admission.
• As per the Maharashtra University of Health Science and institution policy the candidate will have to undergo medical fitness before admission.
• Confirmation of admission is subject to issue of eligibility to the course from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
