Late Dr. Sau. Vasudha Zade Nursing College, Chandrapur was established in 2012 with the collaborative project Jeevan Jyoti Pratishthans Trust 3acres (130680sq ft) area. Professional course Nursing is run by college affiliated to Maharashtra University Of Health Science(MUHS), Nashik, Recognised by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi. The well-equipped hostel provides excellent and safe residence for the students with mess facilities. With experienced faculty and good facilities.

Through its pioneering efforts, the Late Dr. Sau. Vasudha Zade Nursing College aims to create leaders in the nursing professionals by providing unique, innovative programmes that are responsive to the market need, keeping in mind the rapid advance in the health care sector in India. This College is run by “Jeevan Jyoti Pratishthan” trust. Was established in the year 2006. The trust has been imparting the Health Services through Professional Nursing. Its Nursing college is a feather of health service in this region. The Executive body of trust is comprised of highly qualified personality of different fields led by President Dr. Vishwas A. Basic Nursing Program
Undergraduate nursing program is broad based education within an academic framework, specifically directed to the development of critical thinking skills, competencies & standards required for practice of professional nursing and midwifery as envisaged in National Health Policy 2002. Eligibility

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission.
• The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of Higher secondary school Examination with science (Physics, chemistry, Biology).
• At the same time in PCB with minimum of 45% aggregate marks for open category, 40% passing for SC/ST, NT, OBC, PWD etc.

Entrance and selection test

• Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit of the NEET entrance examination in same academic year.

Important Highlights of Course

A minimum of not less than 75 % attendance in theory and practical/clinical separately in each subject in each academic year is essential for appearing in the examination. A candidate pursuing the course shall study in the college for the entire period as a full-time student. No candidate is permitted to work in a hospital/nursing home/laboratory/college while studying this course. No candidate should join any other course of study or appear for any other examination conducted by this university or any other university in India or abroad during the period of registration. Each academic year shall be taken as a unit for calculating attendance.
The regular periodic assessment shall be conducted throughout the course. Although the question of the number of tests is left to the institution level at least two examinations in theory and practical each year be held. The test preceding the university examination may be similar to the pattern of the university examination. Average of the marks of the two tests for theory and practical separately shall be sent to the university. A candidate shall secure not less than 50% of marks prescribed for internal assessment in theory and not less than 50% marks prescribed in practical, separately, in each subject/paper to be eligible to appear in the university examination.
The university shall conduct examination annually (Summer & Winter) and from 2022 onwards semester pattern examination scheme as notified by the university from time to time. A candidate who satisfies the requirement of attendance, progress and conduct as stipulated by the university shall be eligible to appear for the university examination.
