Welcome to Ode Education Society

• SHRI ODE EDUCATION SOCIETY was founded by Late Shri Shantanubhai Chunibhai Patel, ex-MP and resident of Talod (origin from ode) took up an initiative and joined social workers, academicians and donors to establish the aim to promote Quality Nursing education. 
• SHRI ODE EDUCATION SOCIETY is a charitable Trust (NGO) does not get any grant. Providing the education to college level. Trust & Society are working on Donations.

Our Preamble

• Nursing encompasses autonomous and collaborative care of individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities, sick or well and in all settings. Nursing includes the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and the care of ill, disabled and dying people. Advocacy, promotion of a safe environment, research, participation in framing health policies and in patient and health systems management, and education are also key nursing roles
• The aim of the nursing community worldwide is for its professionals to ensure quality care for all, while maintaining their credentials, code of ethics, standards, and competencies, and continuing their education.

Our Mission

• Practicing their profession within the framework of code of ethics, professional conduct and standards of practice, laid down by the Indian Nursing Council
• Developing a human who is caring, responsible, nationalistic, creative and rational.
• Increasing the cognitive, affective and psychomotor competency for efficient nursing education, practice, research and administration.
• Developing competencies for advanced clinical practice as – Nurse Specialists, Educators, Administrators and Consultants.
• Promoting leadership qualities amongst the student nurses for professional advancement.
• Training the student nurses in inter-disciplinary communication and management skills.

Admission Eligibility criteria

Education Eligibility:

• 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.
• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council.
• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
• Registered ANM with pass mark.

For Foreign Nationals:

• The entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, State Nursing Council will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed as above.

Reservation:

• For disabled candidates: 3% Disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same as prescribed for each nursing programme.

Note: A committee to be formed consisting of medical officer authorized by medical board of state government and a nursing expert in the panel which may decide whether the candidates have the disability of locomotor of 40% to 50%.

• 5% is relaxed for SC/ST /SEBCcandidates.
• Any other quotas as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy.

Note: Quotas shall be included in the seats sanctioned and not above it.

• Admission of students shall be once in a year.
• Students shall be medically fit.
• Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year) The upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM/ for LHV, there is no age bar..

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Admission Eligibility criteria

Educational Eligibility:

• 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
• Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• 5% is relaxed for SC/ST/SEBC candidates.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year
• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
