Matoshri College of Nursing is an affiliated nursing educational institute to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, Delhi, as well as Maharashtra Nursing Council with dully permitted by Govt. of Maharashtra to its purpose of Nursing education since 2013.
We have entered currently with one undergraduate nursing educational programme and aspire to extend towards post graduate nursing along with Short term, Certificate & Fellowship nursing programs under the Health Science University of Nashik. The nursing college has a vision to strives for outstanding educational outcomes exemplified by graduates who will be recognized for excellence, leadership and compassionate care.
‘Nursing is Science and a Novel Profession’ is the basic concept of Matoshri College of Nursing, hence we are committed to create an educational environment conducive for the students and teachers to acquire inquiry driven, self directed learning to instill life long learning with desirable nursing practice.

The philosophy of Matoshri College of Nursingis incorporated at par of Indian Nursing Council & MUHS which is a broad based education within an academic frame work and well integrated into the philosophy ofMatoshri Education Society. This will be built upon the skills and competency acquired by the trained nurses of Matoshri College of Nursing. The Matoshri College of Nursingbelieves that nursing education is the art and science of preparing, guiding and producing future nurses who will function effectively and efficiently in the society and serves its health care needs at the highest level of quality. Further, Matoshri College of Nursingbelieves that B.Sc graduate nurses contribute to overall health services in vital and significant ways as an integral member of the health care delivery system.

IMPORTANCE OF NURSING

Health care has been identified as India's number one public priority and nurses play a central role in delivering health care.
Nurses Advocate for health promotion, educate patients and the public on the prevention of illness and injury, provide care and assist in cure, participate rehabilitation, and provide support. No other health care professional has such a broad and flourishing role.
Nurses help people and their families cope with illness, deal with it, and if necessary live with it, so that other parts of their lives can continue.
Nurses Innovate. Florence Nightingale, regarded as the founder of modern nursing, is remembered as "the lady with the lamp" yet she also collected data to prove that the main cause by far, of fatalities in the Crimean War was not enemy fire, but infections attributed to improper sanitation. She was a pioneering statistician, probably the first person in history to use graphs and charts to persuade politicians to act. Today's trained nurses learn to truth their own first-hand observations to generate impotent research leads on significant topics.
Nurses provide on going assessment of people's health. Their round the clock presence, observation skills, and vigilance allow doctors to make better diagnoses and propose better treatments. Many lives have been saved because an attentive nurse picked upon early warning signs of an upcoming crisis like cardiac arrest or respiratory failure.

In today’s competitive world of Liberalization, Privatization & Globalization, wherein every field has already become computerized & technologically advance, our youths have to be imparted with the world class knowledge about the same so that they in future will be able to tackle any sort of new technological challenges facing them in the best possible way with less efforts. In the Matoshri College of Engineering & Research Center, Our aim will be to produce world class engineers who will not only mach the global standards but also create & establish their own separate identity making their parents, institute and nation proud about them.
Our aim will also be to impart the leadership and entrepreneurship skills and qualities to the students so that in future they will head the leading multinationals making their future secure. We the management & staff of Matoshri College of Engineering & Research Center will be at work round the clock for taking the efforts to make our institution one the top most institutes not only in Maharashtra but in India & the whole world and also to set a mile stone for other similar Institutes in this field.
