Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) is an autonomous engineering college in Bangalore, Karnataka. The college is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and was started in the year 2001. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the discipline of Engineering & Technology and Management. Admission to NMIT depends on the performance of the candidates in various State/ National level entrance examinations. the faculty at the institute are highly qualified and well experienced. NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) is located in Bengaluru and was established in 2001. The educational institution has received autonomous status by UGC. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, accredited by NAAC with A Grade, its programmes are accredited by NBA and approved by AICTE. The Institute has 120+ courses, 36+ institutes and around 20,543+ current students. It offers several courses such as BE, MBA, MTech, MCA, MSc, PhD, Diploma and Automotive Master Trainer courses. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) provides Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) programme for the candidates interested to make career in the field of Engineering and Technology. The B.E programme holds a duration of four years for each of the specializations offered by Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology.

The college makes the admission of candidates via different procedures:

• Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) by which 45% seats of total intake is filled.
• 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through COMED-K test, which is also conducted by Karnataka Govt.
• 25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through management quota.
• AICTE has approved 15% extra seats for foreign nationals/PIO/NRI/students whose parents work in Gulf countries over and above the sanctioned intake

Note: The college offers a 5% of marks relaxation in the eligibility criteria for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology M.Tech Admission 2023

At the postgraduate level the Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) under multiple specializations with a duration of two years.

The candidates want to get admission in M.Tech need to appear in The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination.
