About Us

Introduction

Northern International Medical College (NIMC) is affiliated to University of Dhaka and offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program. NIMC has its own academic infrastructure that is utilized for the teaching-learning activities of medical students as well as providing curative, preventive, primitive and rehabilitative health care services to the people. The standard of MBBS program and quality of health care are ensured by research studies and evaluation.

NIMC has an excellent, experienced and dedicated faculty members who are all trained in advanced level teaching technologies. The college has state of the art, tertiary care, multispecialty teaching hospital with all the modern diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. The college has specious, well-equipped laboratories, lecture halls with modern audio visual aids, Multimedia projectors etc. It provides excellent library facilities with reference books, national and international journals, CDs, DVDs etc to help the students with a balanced learning environment.

Northern International Medical College was established in 2005 by a group of dedicated people to provide quality medical education, research and services to people of Bangladesh at reasonable cost. Since its inception Northern International Medical College Hospital has been playing an important role in developing human resources for health care in Bangladesh.

It has been sets up all the policies to ensure support and enhancement of the quality of the health services provided to the patients, through the identification and determination of the vision, message, values, objectives, guiding philosophy and the mechanism of work, which are summarized as follows: The Board of Directors, professional staff, volunteers, and all employees of Northern International Medical College pledge a commitment to excellence in all we do.
