Pankajakasthuri was dreamt of, conceived and made a reality by a great visionary Padmasree Dr. J. Hareendran Nair. His untiring efforts, dedication and commitment paved the way for its amazing and miraculous growth from a makes lift research and development centre and clinic to one of India’s most reputed Ayurvedic organisations.

In a short span of time, Pankajakasthuri could make its presence globally and undertakes various projects in manufacturing research and development, education, healthcare and health tourism.

Years of sustained research has resulted in discovery of wide range of drugs and protocols for the treatment of Asthma, Liver & Kidney disorders, diabetis, coronary artery diseases, cancer and many more.

A fully functional Ayurvedic college, supported by a 150 bedded hospital guided by the name of Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) with state of the art infrastructure of a highly professional and qualified teaching faculty is the greatest milestone in the history of Pankajakasthuri Group.

The college provides Ayurvedic education facilities including BAMS, Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Ayurvedic Nursing and Ayurveda Panchakarma courses.

The college provides excellent standards in practical, clinical training and research facilities both at Undergraduate and Post graduate levels.

ABOUT UNIVERSITY

The Kerala University of Health Science located at Thissur was established by Kerala University of Health Sciences Act 2010. The University hs its jurisdiction throughout the State of Kerala, and is empowered to affiliate health care educations belonging to the entire spectrum of the arts and science of 'Healing'. The naturally includes all the system of medicine (Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Modern Medicine, Sidha, Unani, Yoga, Naturopathy, Dental Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences) contributing to health care. Establishing and maintaining the highest standards in healthcare, professional education and training, encoraging knowledge generation through research and helping to envolve holistic policies and plans for a healthy Kerala are the main object of the University.

OUR HISTORY

Primary established as a Research & Development facility in 1983 by Dr. J. Hareendran Nair, Pankajakasthuri Herbal Research Foundation (registered vide Reg. No. T 620/2001 under section 12 of 1955 of Travancore Cochin Literature Scientific Charity Society Act of 1955) is an unique institution. In the year 2001, the Govt. of Kerala issued sanctions for opening Self – financing Ayurveda Colleges in the state. This move was a shot in the aim of Pankajakasthuri Herbals India Pvt. Ltd., which were the First and only group in the state to achieve the standards of ISO 9002 certification. Within no time, the group obtained consent to open an Ayurvedic Medical College under the dynamic leadership of its Managing Director Padmasree Dr. J. Hareendran Nair.
