Welcome PES University.

PES University, located in Bangalore, India is one of the country’s leading teaching and research universities. The University is committed to providing “education for the real world” that inspires students to realize their potential.

Our students graduate with the ability to adapt to an intellectually and technologically changing environment. Over the years, we have accomplished this with the participative efforts of the management, staff, students and parents.

PES (People's Education Society) University, Electronic City Campus (PESU EC) is a constituent college of PES University, a state private university, and is located on Hosur Road, near Electronic City, Bangalore, India. PESU EC Campus was established in 2005 as PES School of Engineering (PESSE), later called PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore South Campus (PESIT South Campus), and was affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The college was included as one of the three campuses under PES University in 2018.

History

PES University, Electronic City Campus is managed by the People‘s Education Society (PES), which was founded in 1972, in a rented gymnasium in Bangalore, with around 40 students. PES currently manages over 45 educational programs in Karnataka and neighbouring Andhra Pradesh focused on four main educational areas: Engineering, Medicine, Management and Life Sciences. The college (formerly known as PESIT Bangalore South Campus and earlier as PES School of Engineering (PESSE)) was established with AICTE approval in 2005 and was affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. In August 2018, PESIT South Campus was included as a constituent college of PES University and was renamed as PES University, Electronic City Campus.

UG Eligibility Criteria

• For BBA, LLB at PES University requires an applicant who has passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks for general applicants and 40% marks for reserved category from a recognised board.
• For B.Des and B.Arch programs, applicants pass class 10+2 with at least 50% marks. English must be a compulsory subject.

Entrance Exam 2023

PES University offers admission based on the respective entrance exams for the offered courses.

• For all the B.Tech, MCA and M.Tech courses, the candidates should have a qualifying KCET entrance exam score followed by counselling based on which the final merit list is out.
• For BBA and B.Des programme is dependent on the PESSAT exam.
• For LLB programme at PES University is based on PESSAT, L-SET, or CLAT.
• For B.Arch programme is based on a NATA score of 50% marks.

PES university has a well-established placement cell that helps students meet their placement needs. The PESU placement cell focuses on the students' interpersonal abilities. During the epidemic, PES University established an online employment process for placements. More than 25% of the students received an average salary package of over 12 lakhs per annum in PES university placement 2022.
