Welcome to P.G. College of Nursing

P.G. College of Nursing is under a public trust, JAN VIKAS NYAS, founded by Shri. Shitla Sahai Ji & Smt. Kamla Sahai Ji in the memory of their only son who had died of cancer. This couple pledge to give a modern institute of cancer to the people of this area to reduce the intolerable pain of lost ward without treatment, whose loved ones are suffering from cancer.

This trust is registered under Madhya Pradesh Trust Act of 1951, started Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Gwalior in the year 1977. This Hospital is recognized by Government of India as a Regional Centre for Cancer Research and Treatment. After some time they felt that without holistic and excellent nursing care it is not possible to alleviate the suffering and pain of cancer patient. So the couple plan to established a school of nursing to produce qualified and expert nurse for care of cancer patient. .

Diploma Courses

GNM Program(From 1985 to ....)
 

• In order to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, School of Nursing was established by the trust in the year 1985 and now with yearly intake of 60 students. Till 29th batch, more than 1400 students of GNM have passed out and 33rd batch will be taken in this academic session

• 256 bedded Hospital "Cancer Hospital & Research Institute" & 125 bedded Hospital "Shitla Sahai Institute of Medical Sciences" attached with P.G. College of Nursing.
• Affiliation with 1332 bedded Jayarogya, Kamlaraja Hospital and Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior (M.P.)
• Affiliation with 250 bedded Mansik Arogya Shala, Gwalior (M.P.)
• Community visits in Mohna & Guda Gudi Ka Naka Gwalior (M.P) and Govt. Rural and Urban Community Health Care.

Computer Education

• Fully developed computer Laboratory with internet facility.
• Regular classes for all students.

Medical Facilities

• Medical checkup, consultation and treatment are available with 75% discount in both parent Hospital.
• Sick students are treated with all facilities 25% cost in our Hospital.
• Medical examination at the time of admission and annual health checkup of all students.

(2) Another Girls hostel for B.Sc.Nsg. & Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing students are available which are available which are safe, well guarded around the clock security and surrounded by high- up composed wall, beautiful gardens triple seated rooms with attached toilets, recreation hall with T.V. and C. D. player, indoor games facilities and full time electricity and water Supplies and CCTV surveillance.

(3) Seperate Hostel for GNM & ANM students with full flashed facilities.
(4) Each students are provided seprate Almirrah, Table and chair for their boarding.

(5) Cafeteria area facilities is also available for Meal and Snacks.

Guidance & Counseling

We ave counseling cell, a homely atmosphere is maintained in hostel and college campus for students. If the problem arises, concerned class teacher, cell members and principal give necessary guidance and counseling as and when needed as college policy.

Water Supply

The campus is having protected water supply through municipal corporation and deep tube well. The water is pumped into high reservoir tank & distributed throughout the complex area.
