The Raman School of Nursing is at the forefront of healthcare education established in the year 2003,recognized by the Government of Karnataka, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science & Approved by Karnataka State Nursing Council & Indian Nursing Council,New Delhi. RCN BSc Admission

A candidate should have :

• Hold a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwife (GNM)
• Be a Registered Nurse and Midwife
• Have passed Pre-University examination in the Arts, Science / Commerce by Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science.

Library is an integral part of learning process. Raman college has a library which has more than 2000 books, reference material, journals both Indian and foreign, Computers with Internet for online and offline learning to kindle academic excellence in students. The Library consists of Encyclopedias, Journals, magazines, CDs, collection of articles from news papers etc. The project reports of the students on various syllabus topics and also on general issues are maintained in the library for reference. Further, the question papers of previous years are filed so that teachers and students can refer them to have proper understanding of the pattern of Examinations. Reading room with seating capacity of more than 100 students with modern facilities in a quite and serene ambience to promote concentration and study atmosphere. Raman college of Nursing provides cozy hostel for girls which are secure, comfort, clean and hygienic. 2 girls in one room, 24 hours security is provided. Food is hygienic and nutritious. Institutions have a fleet of vehicles to take care of transportation of students. Their academic visits, visits to hospitals by nursing students, educational visits are also taken care by these vehicles.
