RASHTRASANT JANARDHAN SWAMI FOUNDATION TRUST was established in 2015 with a vision of creating an education system from which the leaders of tomorrow emerge. since our inception we have been aware of our strengths, motives and goals which we have set out to achieve.
When we embarked on this journey, all we had was a dream and the tools of foresight and strategy. We combined these forces to pave a path of growth towards excellence and merit.

It Is our aim that the combination of this factor along with the state of the art infrastructure and a dedicated teaching staff will provide an impetus to the Indian educational system as a whole.The cultural aspect has always been a strong-point of our college as it has an acknowledged role in moulding the personality, teaching soft skills, developing leadership and management abilities and strengthening the EQ. About College of Nursing
RASHTRASANT JANARDHAN SWAMI COLLEGE OF NURSING was established in 2019 with annual intake of 50 for Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course. The primary objective of the College is to provide and promote education and research in the field of nursing.. This college started Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course under the ambit of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik Located in the picturesque surroundings of Kokamtan kopergao Ahmed Nagar district Maharashtra With the expediency of multispecialty and super-specialty services rendered by parent hospital Janardhan Swami Hospital Kokamtan kopergao , the college aspires to be the centre of excellence for training in nursing education. Currently the course offered is Basic B.Sc (Nursing and proposed M.Sc (Nursing) in all the disciplines RJSCON located in kokamtan, kopergaon Nagpur- Mumbai Highway, and started in 2019 with an objective to mould nursing students to perform duties as registered nursing professionals efficiently and independently in various health sectors. The institute is governed under Local Managing Committee (LMC) of RJSCON and RJSF Kopergaon. It is also affiliated to Maharashtra state Nursing Council, Mumbai, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. On entering the campus, one would be enthralled by the beautiful trees, flowering plants and huge multistoried building. Spread over more than 50000 square feet of built up area comprising spacious and well ventilated class rooms, library, labs, office etc. Natural place in the campus provides a calm and serene atmosphere which is very pleasant, healthy and stimulating in every sense.

It is my privilege and great pleasure to welcoming you to Rashtrasant Janardhan Swami College of Nursing (RJSCON) Kopergaon, in this academic year.The aim of nursing courses at RJSCON, Kopergaon is to provide health education to the society especially in nursing and to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as nurse specialist, consultants, educators, administrators in a wide variety of professional settings. Nursing contributes to the health service in a vital and significant way in the health care delivery system.
It recognizes national health goals and is committed to participate in the implementation of National Health Policies and Programmes. It aims at identifying health needs of the people, planning and providing quality care in collaboration with other health professionals and community groups. Scope of nursing practice encompasses provision of promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of care to people across their life span in wide variety of health care settings.
Practice of nursing is based upon application of basic concepts and principles derived from the physical biological and behavioural sciences, medicine and nursing. Nursing is based on values of caring, and aims to help individuals to attain independence in self care. It necessitates developments of compassion and understanding of human behaviour among its practitioners to provide care with respect and dignity and protect the rights of individuals & groups. We are committed to producing competent, caring, compassionate and innovative nurses who can make a positive difference in the lives of people. They are educated to provide cost effective health care to the needy with social commitment. The excellent master teaching plan, state of the art hands on training at Janardhan Swami Hospital, the first Multispecialty Hospital in kopergaon, makes the students capable to face the challenges of any types of evaluations over the globe. COURSE DESCRIPTION
- Duration: 4 academic years from the date of commencement of the course.
Eligibility:
- 10+2 from any recognized college.
- Physically and mentally fit.
- The minimum educational qualification is 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). A candidate should have passed in the subject of PCB and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45%marks taken together in PCB. The candidate belonged to the backward class, the marks obtained in PCB were taken together in a minimum of 40% instead of 45%.
- No parallel/ simultaneous attendance in other courses during Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

- Entrance examination and admission procedure for Basic B.Sc. Nursing the admission will be under NEET UG shall be conducted by DMER & CET-CELL and admission dateline for ARA, Mumbai.
