The R. K. Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital was established in 2016 by Dr. Prem Prakash Yadav  as “R.K. Ayurvedic Hospital” governed by “ Society of Krishak Mahavidyalay Samiti .”
R. K. Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital is established to enrich the research in the field of our ancient traditional medicine and its utility but after the certain time Management committee decided to open an Ayurvedic College named as “R. K. Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital at  Kashipur, Surai, Sathiaon, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Pin- 276001”
The main objective of the Society is to promote the health awareness and care by Ayurvedic System of Medicine, because of its availability, applicability and its acceptance in our local area along with increasing demand worldwide.
The R. K. Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital imparts Bachelor Degree Courses in Ayurvedic Medicines (B.A.M.S.). The course have already been recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi (C.C.I.M) and affiliated to Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, U.P. with College Code (1111) and recognition of Govt. of U.P.
The College has well running hospital and 14 academic departments. All the departments are managed by well qualified and efficient doctors and clinicians. Every department have its own laboratory and Museum separately.  

MISSION AND OBJECTIVE 

Adjacent to R.K Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital (In Campus), there is a Herbal Garden for visitors and patients to procure medicinal plants at very low price. For teaching and training of the students, in the herbal garden of R.K Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, cultivation and scientific research on the medicinal plants is carried out. The rare and endangered plants are cultivated in the garden for the purpose of research and medicinal use. At present more than 500 of medicinal plants are available in the garden.

COURSE

Course of Study Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery-B.A.M.S (Duration 4.5 years +1 year Internship)

Eligibility:

1. 12th examination pass with PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) subjects
2. Aggregate minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subject for appear in entrance examination.
3. Qualified NEET Examination or any other examination as decided by Central or State Government.
4. By the counselling conducted by Central Government (for 15% seat for all India students) and by State Government (for rest 85% seat for Uttar Pradesh students).

Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, U.P.

Course & other Fee:

As per the rules of C.C.I.M., New Delhi & UP government

Course fee: 2, 04,600/- per Annum (applicable for one academic session)
Examination fee: As decided by Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, U.P .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel available in the College Campus for girls and outside the college campus for boy, Charges of hostel on double occupancy in single room is:
Residence and mess charge: Rs.60000/- Per Student Per Annum (including food)
Hostel Charges will have to be paid in advance annually

Intake Capacity:

60 students per year intake capacity permitted by CCIM

Necessary Documents:

Ø  Admit Card of NEET examination

Ø  Counseling Letter 

Ø  Allotment Letter

Ø  Transfer Certificate (T.C): No admission allowed without a valid T.C. duly countersigned by competent educational authority. Character certificate: The applicant must submit a Character Certificate from the institution last attended. Certificate of Date of Birth (Copy of High School Certificate)

Ø  Migration Certificate: Applicable to students coming from other State / University. Passport size Photographs (12 Copies + 6 Copies Stamp size)

 All certificates of examinations passed (Only original Certificate/Marks sheet/documents will be produced at the time of admission.
