Institute of Nursing is a renounced institute with the main aims and objectives of providing educational (both medical and paramedical) facilities to the needy and deserving population of the society. S.S. OUR PHILOSOPHY

• The nursing courses ( MSc Nursing, PBBSc Nursing & BSc Nursing )   should be planned around the nursing care need of the society as well as the educational needs and personal development of nursing students.
• The primary focus of the educational program is to prepare the student nurse for professional nursing practices in all fields.
• The courses offer an educational base needed for continuing nursing education.
• The faculty of the college accepts the responsibility of helping the students to adjust to new situations and provides them with the opportunity, which contribute towards development of the student as a person, responsible citizen and competent practitioner.

Course offered:-

Eligibility Criteria for G.N.M

• 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.
• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council.
• 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
• Registered ANM with pass mark.

For foreign nationals:

• The entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, State Nursing Council will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed as above.

Reservation:

• For disabled candidates: 3% Disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same as prescribed for each nursing programme.
  Note: A committee to be formed consisting of medical officer authorized by medical board of state government and a nursing expert in the panel which may decide whether the candidates have the disability of locomotor of 40% to 50%.
• 5% is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.
• Any other quotas as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy

Note:

1. Quotas shall be included in the seats sanctioned and not above it.
2. Admission of students shall be once in a year.
3. Students shall be medically fit.
4. Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year) The upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM/ for LHV, there is no age bar.

Eligibility Criteria for A.N.M

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
• The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.
