Nursing is an art and science with a unique knowledge and skills by providing a good nurse –patient relationships. Nurses are responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe environment for the patients.
Learning is a dynamic life- long process from simple to complex by allowing individuals to develop their human potential. Integration of classroom theory with clinical practice promotes health care system.
Nursing Education helps the student to meet the health care needs with nursing process, critical thinking, effective communication, evidence - based practice ,advocacy and leadership.

Santosh Nursing College was started in the year 2003 in Ghaziabad,Uttarpradesh, India. Many blossoms have come with their degree and diploma.

1. Skill based on “CARDIO PULMONARY RESUSCITATION” at Santosh hospital collaborates with AIIMS under INDUSEM 11th Annual INDO-US WORLD CONGRESS OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE on 2ndoct,2015
2.“NATIONAL HEALTH SKILLS CONCLAVE” for Para medical students on Injection Technique, Incubator & Phototherapy of child from 8th ,9th&10th April 2016 at Santosh Medical college, Ghaziabad.
3.Train of the Trainer on IAP-NNF NEONATAL RESUSCITATION Programme organized by SEHPL on 6th October 2016 at Santosh Hospital.
4. Health care providers on “BASIC LIFE SUPPORT” Provider course organized by Vidyanta skills institute an AHA authorized International training center, Gurgaon on 20th April 2018 at Santosh Medical college, Ghaziabad.

GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery)
Course Description
The GNM program teaches the students to care for individuals who are sick and help them to attain full recovery. The GNM students are given training on various aspects like emergency response, compassion, individual care and many more.GNM students are provided with in-depth training on important aspects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, Microbiology, Behavioral Science, Sociology, Psychology, First Aid and many other subjects.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission
Age
Minimum age : 17 years
Maximum age : 35 years
Minimum Qualification
Shall have passed 2 years Pre University examination conducted by Dept. of pre university education, Karnataka state with English as one of the subjects and physics chemistry and biology as optional subjects. The candidates shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually also 45% marks in PCBE.
Eligibility for Examination
Students should have 80% attendance each in theory and practical.
The student should complete 11 months duration of that particular academic year before appearing for the examination.
The principal should certify that the candidate’s performance and conduct are satisfactory.
If a student fails in one theory paper or practical examination, she/he may sit for a supplementary examination in the failed subjects or practical held subsequently.
