ABOUT COLLEGE

Located in Ghazipur city of Uttar Pradesh, SGM Ayurvedic & Unani Medical College (Shamm-e-Ghausia Minority Ayurvedic & Unani Medical College) is committed towards imparting high standards of education in the field of Ayurveda & Unani medicine. The college was incepted in 1994, to cater to the educational needs of minorities and to preserve and promote the traditional way of medicine (Ayurvedic & Unani). Over the years, the college has become a centre of excellence, which conducts education along with the practical knowledge to aspirants. S.G.M. Ayurvedic & Unani Medical College commenced its journey of imparting quality education in Ayurveda & Unani at undergraduate level, under the guidance of U.P. Samaj Muslim Education Development Welfare Sewa Samiti. The college is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur, and it is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi (C.C.I.M.) and Govt. of U.P. The college boasts of having an attached hospital, highly knowledgeable lecturers and modern amenities, offered by it within the campus.
