SHIVALIK AYURVEDIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL, Bijarawa, Bankat, Azamgarh (U.P.) is run by Shivalik Seva Trust, Manjushree Villa, Sitaram – Azamgarh (U.P.) and recognized by CCIM, New Delhi and Ministry of Health and Family welfare, New Delhi. Shivalik Ayurvedic Medical College is a First Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital in Azamgarh Commissionery. Its Medicinal Garden is available with 2505sq.mt area with 342 Medicinal plants .Faculties of the collage is well experienced and devoted to serve the society through Ayurvedic health care. Shivalik Ayurvedic Medical college saw its inception in the month of April 2012 at Bijarwa, Bankat 6 Km from Azamgarh town in Azamgarh Gorakhpur road. It got LOP from Govt of India Department of AYUSH in Oct, 2014.. Realizing the importance of sustainable health care and the increasing public interest towards holistic health care approaches, Shivalik Ayurvedic Medical College has brought up sophisticated Ayurvedic Hospital at Azamgarh with 60 beds having Shalya , shalakya ,balrog, Stri roga, Kayachikitsa and Panchkarma facilities. Different specialties are functioning with 60 Bedded Hospital offering perfect ambience of Ayurvedic Care. It is also serving as a Teaching Hospital to the Shivalik Ayurvedic Medical Collage . The motto of the institute is to develop well trained personal to serve the people using Ayurveda.

Permission, Affiliation & Recognitions
The Ministry of AYUSH was formed on 9th November 2014 to ensure the optimal development and propagation of AYUSH systems of health care. Earlier it was known as the Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy (ISM&H) which was created in March 1995 and renamed as Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in November 2003, with focused attention for development of Education and Research in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy Visit Website
The National Commission For Indian System Of Medicine is the statutory body constituted under NCISM Act, 2020 vide gazette notification extraordinary part (ii) section 3(ii) dated 21.09.2020. An Act to provide for a medical education system that improves access to quality and affordable medical education, ensures availability of adequate and high quality medical professionals of Indian System of Medicine in all parts of the country; that promotes equitable and universal healthcare that encourages community health perspective and makes services of such medical professionals accessible and affordable to all the citizens; that promotes national health goals; that encourages such medical professionals to adopt latest medical research in their work and to contribute to research; that has an objective periodic and transparent assessment of medical institutions and facilitates maintenance of a medical register of Indian System of Medicine for India and enforces high ethical standards in all aspects of medical services; that is flexible to adapt to the changing needs and has an effective grievance redressal mechanism and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. MAHAYOGI GURU GORAKHNATH AYUSH UNIVERSITY. It is a dream project of Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Presently Ayurveda colleges, Yoga and Naturopathy colleges, hospital centre and huts will be start in within university. The Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University will be expanded in around fifty-two hectares to disseminate and advance knowledge in Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Yoga and naturopathy, Siddha and Sowa-rigpa, Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical Science and such other disciplines as may be prescribed from time to time and to ensure efficient and systematic instructions, teaching, training and research. Aims & Vision of College
The Aim of the college is to Produce graduate pf pro-formed scholarship having a depth scientific knowledge of Ayurveda in accordance the Ayurveda fundamentals associated with extensive practical training who would be efficient teachers, Research Scholars with sole object of receiving and developing the Indian System of Medicine.
College vision is to generate quality education of Ayurvedic & Herbal treatment of human to provide proper training & practicing in the field of Ayurveda. We have to provide latest technologies in Laboratory, Pharmacy and other department of college. We are also committed to provide clinical based study to our students and to carry out research and training in activities complimentary to practice of Ayurveda including yoga and Traditional arts and Culture.
