Academics History
Shree Swaminarayan R.P Badiyani and S.R Badiyani Institute of Nursing was established in 2017, with the Grace of Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan, as well as with the blessings of our respected Shree Swami Shree Hariprakashdashji under the protection of Shree Swaminarayan Education and Medicare Foundation.
Nursing programs include A.N.M., G.N.M., & B.Sc. nursing with intake 20 Seats, 30 Seats and 30 Seats. All courses are dually recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (I.N.C.) and Gujarat Nursing Council (G.N.C.) and affiliated with Bhakt Kavi Narsinh Mehata University, Junagadh for B.Sc. Nursing Course.
The Academic year started on 1st October 2017, with A.N.M. 20 students, G.N.M. 30 Students, B.Sc. Nursing 28 Students. On 2018 under Gujarat Nursing Council Inspection we got Seat Enhancement of Course ANM (40 seats) for Academic Year 2018-2019.

The Nursing College has facilities which promotes and facilitates comprehensive nursing education and skills, like Fundamental of Nursing Lab, Pre-Clinical Science Lab, Community Health Nursing Lab, MCH Lab, Advance Skill lab, Digital Class rooms, Central Library Auditorium, and Play Ground.
Our Nursing College is attached to various vultispecialty Hospitals (Government & Self-Financed), Urban Health Centres, Primary Health Centres and Community Health Centres. Along with proper clinical exposure and training the Institute also has qualified and an experienced Faculty for proper teaching and guidance.

Course offered:-

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (A. N. M.)

Course Duration: 2 Years

Details: Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery, commonly known as ANM, is a village level female health worker in India, who is the first contact person between the community and the health services. ANMs are regarded as the grass- roots workers in the health organisation pyramid. Their services are considered important to provide safe and effective care to village communities. The role may help communities achieve the targets of national health programmers. The ANMs works at health centres like PHC (Primary Health Centre), CHC (Community Health Centre) and UHC (Urban Health Centre).

Eligibility: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission in sought. The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.

Minimum Requirements: The minimum educational requirements shall be 10+2 in any of the following subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, Economics, Political Science).

Other requirements:

• Students shall be medically fit.
• Student qualified in 10+2 Arts, or Science examination candidates are also eligible from state school recognised by state government & National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognised by Central Government.
• Students shall be admitted once in a year.

General Nurse Midwife (G. N. M.)

Course Duration: 3 Years

Details: 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English Individually for any recognised board. Candidates are also eligible from state school recognised by state government & national institute of open school (NIOS) recognized by Central Government however science is preferable.

Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing B.S.c. (Nursing):

Course Duration: 4 Years

Details: The course is aimed at preparing graduates to take up posts as competent professional nurses and midwives to provide creative and preventive cares. This course focuses on reinstating health and providing care to the sick. There is a wide range of opportunities after finishing B.Sc. Nursing; the students can opt for a job or go for higher studies. Those who want to take up jobs can join as a Nursing Advisor, Nursing Supervisor, Assistant Lecturer and Nursing Superintendent. Moreover B.Sc. Nursing course best suits for those who are interested to (or work abroad) immigrate to other countries like U.K., U.S.A., Canada, Africa, Australia, New Zealand as there are great opportunities for professional nurses world wide.

Eligibility:

• 10+2 class passed with science (PCB) & English core / English elective with aggregate of 45% Marks from recognized Board under CBSE /ICSE / SSCE /HSCE / AISSCE or other equivalent board.
• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• Students shall be medically fit.
• Students appearing in 10+2 examination in science conducted by National institute of open school with 45% marks. Students shall be admitted once in a year.
