The Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital was established in 2011 by Dr. S. P. Yadav as “Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Chikitsalya & Shodh Sansthan” governed by “Gramin Evam Shahari Vikas Shiksha Samiti, Makan No. – S 25/265 K-3, Vrindavan Colony, Sarsoli, Cantt, Varanasi”

Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Chikitsalya & Shodh Samsthan is established for enrich the research knowledge about the Indian System of Medicine but after the certain time Management committee decide to open an ayurvedic college namely “Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital Rauna Khurd, Cholapur, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh Pin -221101”

The main objective of the Society is to promote the health awareness and care by Ayurvedic system of Medicine, because these are the ancient systems of medicine which are easily available & less side effect in comparison to the western system of medicine.

The Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital imparts Bachelor Degree Courses in Ayurvedic Medicines (B.A.M.S.). The courses have already been recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi (C.C.I.M) and affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Station Road, Maldahiya Crossing,  Varanasi- 221002 with recognition of Govt. of U.P.. 

Gramin Evam Shahari Vikas Shiksha Samiti

Gramin Evam Shahari Vikas Shiksha Samiti has been established to promote living standard in rural area including medical therapy to the vast majority of the human race with the expertise and knowledge gained in the field of Ayurvedic medicines over several centuries. It aims to provide comprehensive healthcare facilities across India. It also provides low cost medical treatment to the poor and the needy through its Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Chikitsalya & Shodh Sansthan.

The Society provides basic education in rural area by established “Shri Krishna Mahavidyalaya”.  Shri Krishna Mahavidyalaya provides education more than 3000 student each year in different courses with minimal fee. Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Chikitsalya & shodh Samsthan intends to popularise Ayurveda by offering low cost healthcare to the common people by initially covering about 3 lakh beneficiaries.

Affiliation/Permission

The Central Council of Indian Medicine is the statutory body constituted under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 vide gazette notification extraordinary part (ii) section 3(ii) dated 10.8.71.

Since its establishment in 1971, the Central Council has been framing on and implementing various regulations including the Curricula and Syllabii in Indian Systems of Medicine viz. Ayurved, Siddha and Unani Tibb at Under-graduate and Post-graduate level. The Sowa Rigpa System of Medicine is included in the Central Council of Indian Medicine from the year 2012 as per Gazette Notification No. 2345 dated 16.12.2011. Now, all the Colleges of Indian Systems of Medicine are affiliated to various Universities in the Country. These Colleges are following the minimum standards of education and Curricula and Syllabii, prescribed by Central Council.  Visit Web

The Ministry of AYUSH was formed on 9th November 2014 to ensure the optimal development and propagation of AYUSH systems of health care. Earlier it was known as the Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy (ISM&H) which was created in March 1995 and renamed as Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in November 2003, with focused attention for development of Education and Research in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy.  Visit Website

Kashi Vidyapith having present nomenclature since 1995 as Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith has, in fact been the action field of Indian National Movement as also a place of pilgrimage of Indian Socialist Movement. Founding resolution of "RASHTRA RATNA" Babu Shiva Prasad Gupt, inspiration of the "FATHER OF THE NATION" Mahatma Gandhi and brilliance of "BHARAT RATNA" Dr. Bhagwan Das were jointly responsible for the birth of this national educational institution. Visit Webiste

Aims & Vision of College

The Aim of the college is to Produce graduate pf pro-formed scholarship having a depth scientific knowledge of Ayurveda in accordance the Ayurveda fundamentals associated with extensive practical training who would be efficient teachers, Research Scholars with sole object of receiving and developing the Indian System of Medicine.

College vision is to generate quality education of Ayurvedic & Herbal treatment of human to provide proper training & practicing in the field of Ayurveda. We have to provide latest technologies in Laboratory, Pharmacy and other department of college. We are also committed to provide clinical based study to our students and to carry out research and training in activities complimentary to practice of Ayurveda including yoga and Traditional arts and Culture.
