About Us-

Shri Vivekanand Nursing Home Trust is a charitable trust established with objective to impart education & medical facilities in rural area in the year 1973. The Trust was established under the guidance of Members of its parent Institution recently named as "Dr. B. B. Tanpure Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd." in the 1973.

Since then it is running under guidance of Members of Sugar factory and co-operation of its share-holders. The trust is also registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 on 9th Nov.1973. Since then the trust is working on its objectives. The trust has started a 100 bedded hospital in 1973-74 as to serve the people of surrounding area.

As a part of medical facility the Trust is arranging different camps such as All disease diagnostic camps, Eye-Camp with free catract surgeries, Fissure & pistula diagnosis & surgical camp, plastic surgery camps etc. The Trust is arranging School Health Check Up camp every year free of charge. Every year about 9 to 11 thousands students are checked from the schools within a radius of near about 20 kms. by the doctors of the trust's hospital.

The Trust has extended its bed-strength upto 260 beds now with well furnished new hospital.

Educational Background

1. Ayurved College

Keeping the goal of imparting education in mind the Trust has started an Ayurved College with BAMS course in 1991 with a capacity of 50 students per year firstly.

Seeing the rush of rural peoples to get medical education trust increased its intake capacity from 50 to 60 students in the year 1999-2000.

In the same year Trust was granted permission for Post Graduate M.D./M.S. (Ayurved.) for 11 seats per year in three subjects (i.e. Kayachikitsa, Stree Rog, Prasuti Tantra).

Seeing the interest of students in Ayurved Trust has started Post Graduate in three new subjects (Ras Shastra, Rognidan & Shalakya Tantra) & increased intake of two subjects (Kayachikitsa & Prasuti Tantra). from 2008-09. The Total capacity of M.D./M.S. (Ayurved) is 27 seats per year from 2008-09.
