The entire enchanting atmosphere is conducive to the overall development of the students.Sinhgad Institute of Technology and Science (SITS) was established in 2008 under the umbrella of Sinhgad Technical
Education Society. Sinhgad Institute of Technology and Science, Pune, a premium self-financed institute, under the strong Sinhgad Institutes brand is one of the reputed technical institutes of Maharashtra. It is the 5th Engineering College of the group, located at Narhe, Pune.
SITS is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai, and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The institute offers UG programme in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and PG in E&TC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and MBA.
It is known academic excellence and is committed to provide quality education as per the standards set by NBA. The teaching and learning processes are streamlined to achieve top ranking result in the Savitribai Phule Pune University examinations.
Academic calendar has been framed to nurture the students in the right direction to imbibe top professional knowledge with human touch. Admission Procedure

• Mention the Admission test taken with Name and address of the Test Agency and URL of their website. 
• Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State (DTE MS) www.dte.org.in has adopted the entrance examination MHT-CET conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell & JEE-Main conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSC), New Delhi (www.cbse.nic.in, www.jeemain.nic.in) .
• Percentage of seats allotted to the candidates as per the Test taken Maharashtra State (MS) candidates-65% ,All India candidates-15% ,Institute Level for all candidates-20%
• Calendar for admission against instate level / vacant seats

The schedule or Centralized Admission Process (CAP) is notified by DTE MS. After the CAP rounds, admissions at institute level/ vacant seats are done. However, candidates should contact the office immediately after declaration of HSC, MHT-CET and JEE-Main results.

• Candidate should fill their online applications to Central Admission Process (CAP) for Institute level & Against Vacant seats if any.

• The central library is enriched by 46500 books with 12000 titles of various books of all disciplines of Engineering, Management and Sciences. Along with 5000 reference books, it also has 207 national/ international periodicals and journals. The library also possesses 1300 CDs as offline databases. A dedicated six storey building with huge reading halls and modern amenities is allotted to the library facilities of the campus and the central library is open for 24 hours on all days in a year with the seating capacity of more than 3500.
