History

Sir. Hurkisondas Nurrotumdas Hospital & Research Centre has been providing Nursing training since 1932. In continued pursuit of demanding standards of excellence, the institute upgraded the GNM program (Diploma) to Basic B.Sc. course in Nursing (Graduate) since 2010.The college was inaugurated by Mrs. Nita Ambani, Chairman, Reliance Foundation on Dec 28, 2010.

• Sir H N Hospital & Research centre College of Nursing is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi as well as the Maharashtra state Nursing Council with due permission from the Government of Maharashtra regarding its purpose of providing and promoting nursing education.

Admission Eligibility:

• Admission to the First Year Basic B.Sc Nursing Course is as per guidance from DMER (www.dmer.org) as under:
• NEET (Check DMER website) clearance and grading
• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission
• The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing: Higher secondary school certificate Examination (XII Std) or an equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or University with science, with minimum 45% (Open) and 40% (Reserved category) in PCB and & to be passed in English separately.
• Candidate shall be medically fit.
