SEVA MANDAL EDUCATION SOCIETY
The foundation for Seva Mandal Education Society, was laid in 1957, is a premium educational institute which began for women’s education with merely seven students. It has gradually expanded over a period of time, both in terms of the number of students as well as the educational courses offered. The SMES now has student strength of 6,500 on campus. It offers a variety of programs ranging from institutional, certificate and diploma programs to Junior Colleges, Undergraduate Degree Programs and Post Graduate degree and Diploma Courses.

OUR AFFILIATED HOSPITALS

We have our affiliation with well known superspecialty hospitals in Mumbai such as Smt. Sushilaben R. Mehta & Sir Kikabhai Premchand Cardiac Institute, Conwest Jain Clinic Group of Hospitals and Ruxmani Lying-in Hospital.
Smt. S.R.Mehta Hospital is also known as Smt. S.R. Mehta and Sir K.P. Cardiac Institute which is a first cardiac institute in western India, started in 1999 under the pioneering and enterprising Chairmanship of Mr. M.C. Shah, a well known city Industrialist and philanthropist. Institute is 85 bedded Cardiac Superspecialty Hospital and recently opened to provide orthopedic superspecialty medical services.
Under the same management we have two more hospitals namely Conwest Jain Clinic 107 bedded hospital for medical services and Ruxmani Lying-in Hospital (35 bedded) for Maternal superspecialty services.
Hospitals are dedicated to poor and needy patients. We have permission from Municipal Corporation hospitals like (Sion, K.E.M, Kasturba and Shivadi T.B. Hospitals) and other private hospitals like Surya Children’s hospital.

NURSING COLLEGE
The college is affiliated to “Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik” and recognized by Indian & Maharashtra Nursing Councils. Seva Mandal Education Society initiated the B.Sc. Nursing programme in collaboration with Smt. S.R. Mehta & Sir Kikabhai Premchand Cardiac Trust. Students will be given opportunities to develop their nursing care and other skills & enhance their knowledge by posting them in all affiliated hospitals & as well as the other Municipal hospitals of Mumbai as per the requirement of the syllabus. The students will be working & supervised by the experienced and expert teachers as well as experienced staff of all the above hospitals.
