About SVCE
SVCE is a unit of Sri Venkateswara Educational and Health Trust (SVEHT). The Trust was founded on 1 August 1985 at the behest and benign blessings of His Holiness Pujashree Kanchi Kamakoti Peedathipathi Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. Dr. A. C. Muthiah, a renowned engineer, industrialist and philanthropist, is the Chairman of the Governing Council of the college. The college is in a 95 acre lush green Campus. It is housed in architecturally exquisite buildings with ample infrastructure such as classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports arena, canteen, hostels, dispensary, bank etc.

Admission Procedure
Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, Bangalore offers admission to B.E, M.Tech and M.B.A programmes. For SVCE Bangalore admission, candidates must ensure that they meet the required eligibility criteria. For B.E admission, candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- COMEDK UGET or KCET. Then, candidates have to participate in the counselling session. SVCE Bangalore admission to M.Tech and M.B.A programmes are done based on candidates performance in the entrance exam- Karnataka PGCET, conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, Bangalore offers B.E programmes in the following specialisations such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. The course duration of the B.E programme is 4 years. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.E admission is that the candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with an aggregate of 45% marks.

SVCE Bangalore Admission Procedure- B.E
-
First, candidates have to apply for the entrance exam- COMEDK UGET or KCET.
- Candidates need to register and then fill up the application form with all required documents and pay the application form fee for the entrance exam.
- Candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- COMEDK UGET or KCET.
- Then the COMEDK UGET/KCET cut off is released for B.E admission.
- After the scores and rank list has been published, candidates have to participate in COMEDK UGET/KCET counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment.
- During the counselling, candidates have to give their first preference to their desired college that is Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, Bangalore.
- Candidates need to get all documents verified at designated centres.
- Further, candidates are shortlisted for counselling rounds based on their score in the entrance exam and preferences given by them for courses and colleges.
- Then, the seats are allotted to the candidates as per the counselling rounds.
- Finally, candidates have to report to the allotted institute and complete the admission process within scheduled dates.
SVCE Bangalore Admission- PG
The institute offers an M.Tech programme in Structural Engineering specialisation and it also offers an M.B.A programme. The course duration of M.Tech and M.B.A programmes is 2 years. The required eligibility criteria for M.Tech and M.B.A admission is that the candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks.

Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, Bangalore offers placement opportunities to all the eligible students to participate in the SVCE Bangalore placement drive. The training and placement cell of SVCE Bangalore is in charge of placements. The institute has provided the SVCE Bangalore placement cell with all of the necessary infrastructures. The institution has a well-organised placement cell with a full-time dedicated placement team that constantly checks employment opportunities and schedules campus interviews for students. For placement of the students, the head of placement maintains a constant connection with the major MNCs. The SVCE Bangalore placement cell has close tie-ups with various private and public sector industrial establishments. The objective of the training programmes is to instil the main skills in students in order for them to satisfy corporate requirements and gain more confidence in order to get placed. Create a database with cumulative exam results (up to the 5th semester) from the exam cell.
- Conduct a pre-assessment for aptitude, logical reasoning, and technical skills using any one assessment model.
- Prepare a training schedule for the student to update his or her fundamentals.

- Schedule the campus placement drive for the final year students of SVCE Bangalore.
