ABOUT US 

• Nursing in its most basic form has existed since the beginning of time. It has solved from an informal act of caring for and nurturing others to a more complex scientific based profession. Basic tenets of the profession have there mained constant. From its infancy, the focus of nursing has been on assisting with meeting basic human needs. Over time, significant changes have occurred to meet the needs of an ever - changing society. Changes in the population make-up, consumer demands, technology, and economics are some of the key factors that have influenced how nursing has evolved. Nursing education, practive settings, and nursing roles have changed significantly. Although nursing has come a long way from the day of strictly providing beside care, it is by no means any where near its full maturity, in fact, nursing will continue to change and evolve as will the world.

  PHILOSOPHY

  Nursing is a direct service, goal oriented and adaptable to the needs of the individual, family and community during health and illness. Nursing is a profession, which is influenced by advances in science and technology and must advance with other profession to create balance in health care. The college will be preparing students to develop ability in critical thinking, problem solving and take up responsibility in continuing education for professional effectiveness.

  The college will emphasize in spirit to serve the humanity with compassion. The profession involves selfless devotion and high degree of professional competence in keeping with lates technological advances in the field of nursing.

G.N.M The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) training Course is 3 years of duration with English as the medium Of instruction.

Eligibility Criteria

COURSE: (Diploma in Nursing)
Duration: 3 years
Educational Qualification: 12th/10 +2 with 40% Marks
Education: Science, arts or Commerce
Age : Must have completed 17 years of age

Clinical experience will be provided in our own clinical facility, Suguna Hospital situated near to college campus, other hospitals includes as below:

TEACHING FACULTY

Our strength is our teaching faculty. We are proud of our highly qualified and well experienced lecturers. We have an exceptional students lecture ratio that ensure every students get individual attention. The mix of lecture classes, seminar and team projects with limited enrolment are conducive.

Library

Reference and study materials are made available to the students in the form of a well-stocked library with books of indian and foreign authors. Journals, periodicals and magazines are regularly subscribed to, adequately catering to the needs of the students

Sports

The college provides adequate facilities for the sporting activities that are necessary to encourage all round development of the student. Outdoor sports such as badminton, throw ball and volleyball as well as indoor games such as table-tennis, carom and chess have been made available for the benefit of students through appropriate playing fields and equipment.

Hostel & Mess

Amenities that take care of the comfort of the inmates is provided in the spacious two separate hostels for Boys and Girls. A hygiene mess that caters to the nutritional requisites of the students is a part of the residential facilities. The hostel kitchen follows strict hygienic practices and only nutritious and whole food meals are served as their native style to hostel students

Co-curricular

Students are encouraged in the multi-faceted development of their personalities through active participation in state shows and other entertainment forms. Various occasions of celebration like the college Annual Day are provided as forums for the students to exhibit their talents and skills in activities that complement academics. Inter collegiate festivals and competitions are a part of the extra-curricular activities provided by the college.

The college owns its own fleet of buses to ensure comfortable transportation for its students so as to pursue the course activities with the least hassle.
