Nursing has always responded to the changes in society’s health care needs. Nursing continues to be challenged and rewarded by both new and old changing opportunities & constraints. Nursing is the largest group of professionals in the healthcare delivery system. At the same time, medical and nursing services are overstretched with some of the social, biomedical, and man-made/obtained problems. Nursing is the process where a nurse is to assist the individual sick or well in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery. These processes are performed by a professional nurse who has completed a basic nursing education.
We believe, providing training to a girl is training the whole family and our society.
The Zion Institute of Nursing is located at E-sector Nirjuli District Papumpare Arunachal Pradesh under the aegis of The Vistahunt Society. Zion Institute of Nursing is duly recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) vide No.02/Aug/2013 Dated 31/08/2013 having institute code No.0302006 and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) vide No. the Arunachal Pradesh Nursing Council (APNC) vide No. Med/APNC/28/2013 Dated 27th March 2014. 
The Institute is also affiliated to the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Science (TRIHMS) Naharlagun and Mental Hospital, Midpu for clinical training for the students. This institute is one of the premier private nursing institutes that offers B.Sc(Nursing ) & General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) courses to eligible candidates in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. 
The 1st batch of GNM students’ was admitted in the year 2013 and they have completed the course and are working in different clinical establishments both in Government and private.
Zion Institute of Nursing is registered under the Registrar of Societies with the Societies Registration Act,1860 and the type of NGO is Registered Societies (Non-Government) bearing the Registration Number- SR/ITA/3273 dated 27/03/2006. The city and state of registration are Itanagar and Arunachal Pradesh. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is AR/2018/0204185.

Zion Institute of Nursing (ZION) was started in the year 2013 with the foresight and vision to prepare professional nurses, to improve standards of nursing service through quality education. We have grown to be one of the largest and best nursing institutions in the state under the guidance and support of a dedicated team of faculties. We offer nursing programs like GNM & B.Sc. (Nursing). The college has recognition from Arunachal Pradesh Nursing Council (APNC) and Indian Nursing Council (INC). The College is also affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University(RGU), a central university for the degree program, and Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Science (TRIHMS) Naharlagun and Mental Hospital, Midpu for clinical training for the students.
The College is equipped with well-qualified and competent teachers, good physical infrastructure, a Library, and most importantly students get the opportunity for clinical learning in an affiliated teaching hospital with more than 500 beds. 
Nursing students do have the benefit of contributions from interdisciplinary teaching faculty and ample opportunity for extracurricular activities as the college has excellent facilities for the same.
